sans-serif; background: transparent;">This guy is looking for a way out. He told the realtor that he did not buy the home because there could be animals living in the attic because I did not climb on the roof. ( suspect it was because of the water intrusion problems that I found in the basement)
The roof was NEW and I did access the attic and the standards of practice of EVERY Home Inspections association does not require the inspector to climb up and walk on the roof.
I will refund his money, because I do not need people like this, but will go on record that EVERYTHING was explained to him before the inspection began.
Perhaps if he looked at me and paid attention to me, instead of staring off into space, he would have heard what I said.
I do close to 500 inspections a year and have NEVER had a complaint before.
I will contact him via email

Review: I used this business for home inspection for home I was going buy in [redacted] at recommendation from the real estate company I was working with. early in the inspection the inspector phil h[redacted] advised me was not going inspect the roof because of his insurance not cover that for him to do it. I was told before the inspection after talking to him and the realtor was going inspect everything in the home including the roof. also on his website on list of things he claims is going to inspect number one on the list is roofs. I feel I was misled and not told about this until he was already starting the inspection he was not going inspect the roof. when I hired his company I wanted assurances the major components in the home mostly including the roof didn't need major repairs and he didn't inspect the roof.Desired Settlement: refund for insufficient services
