East Coast Job Fairs

Review: I attended a Coast to Coast Career Fair on Monday 5/* at the Marriott located in downtown [redacted]. I paid $500 for the event and when I arrived, there was limited companies there with no direction or assistance. Usually at these events you are offered water and that wasn't even provided because the hotel personnel explained to me that the event coordinator didn't set anything up. This job fair was also supposed to be sales oriented, however most of the candidates there had no idea and were not professional. I have called my contact several times and left him voicemails and he will not get back to me. I at least wanted to give him feedback about the event. Two other businesses that attended also felt the same way about the event and have also tried to contact him and have failed to do so. It was an expensive event and I just feel that it was handled very poorly compared to what he sold me over the phone.Desired Settlement: I would ultimately like a refund because it was a complete waste of my time. However, I doubt that they will refund but I want other recruiters and companies to know out there that they are not a credible company to purchase career fairs through. Thank you!

At this time, I have not been contacted by Coast to Coast Career Fairs regarding complaint ID [redacted]. I have also talked to other businesses that participated in the event on 5/*/14 and they have not heard back from them either. I have attempted to leave 3 more voicemails and have not gotten a response.
