I am rejecting this response because: It's part of the work and he came again 2 days back to get more work. I told him that I was not getting response from him. So...

he told he will come back again to complete it. Most likely he was lyiing. There were branches dangling and he saw and told I will come back. Probably he was trying to get advance for the new work. When I told him that he is not getting the new work... he left.
