Dear Revdex.com, ID #: [redacted] Eagle Auto and Truck is in the Auto Recycling business, selling quality recycled auto parts for all makes and models. Warranty is void after 90 days on all parts unless an extended warranty is purchased. Warranty terms are listed on all...
invoices upon purchase completion. On August 15, 2016, customer [redacted] purchased an 02 5.3L Avalanche engine on Invoice # [redacted]. On October 10, 2016, [redacted] called and spoke with our salesman Hugo about the engine smoking, knocking and being defective. Hugo told Kevin to return the defective engine, bringing the receipt (as we sold it to him, per warranty with all pieces and covers) and we would be more than happy to replace the engine under the warranty for him. On October 24, 2016, [redacted] came in to return the defective engine. The engine was incomplete and not brought back according to warranty terms. Hugo, our salesman, informed him that if all the pieces of the engine were there as it was sold to him (minus the damage that occurred), we would be more than happy to replace it for him or he could keep the defective engine for a small core deposit fee and still get a replacement engine under the 90 day warranty. Kevin did not make a decision as to what he wanted to do with the defective motor and left the premises. On October 26, 2016, [redacted] called Hugo and informed him that he wanted to keep the original defective motor, pay the small core deposit to keep the original defective motor, and that he would come to pick up a replacement engine under the 90 day warranty. On October 28, 2016 [redacted] returned to pick up a replacement 02 5.3L Avalanche engine, provided to him at no charge under the terms of the warranty (Credit Invoice # [redacted] & Invoice # [redacted]). Everything was resolved according to warranty terms and to the customer’s satisfaction. Please see attached invoices: August 15, 2016: Original purchase INV# [redacted]October 28, 2016: Credit for defective engine toward warranty engine CR #84594October 28, 2016: Replacement engine under warranty INV# 84595 In summary, [redacted] received the warranty replacement engine and was satisfied. We received the letter from the Revdex.com with ID# [redacted], on Monday November 7, 2016, after the issue had already been resolved. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me. Have a great day! Regards, Carol M[redacted]AccountingP: [redacted] [redacted] CC: Leroy L[redacted]P: [redacted]
