The job has not been done even though they've had $4,000 of our money since January.
We hired them to extend our paver driveway and gave them a $4,000 deposit but they kept making excuses as to why they weren't giving us the plans for the HOA. When they eventually gave them to us, the HOA asked for modifications. Again we waited weeks before getting new plans, getting only excuses. The new plans were once again rejected by the HOA because of wrong measurements and no sample pavers which we had requested from EAC. Meanwhile, a large tree in the area where the work was to be done died, so EAC removed the tree and dug up the whole area in preparation for the job even though we had told them not do until we had approval - and in doing so they broke our sprinkler system and damaged a gate in the fence - plus they left trash all over our yard. Since the HOA were obviously against us doing the driveway and we had had enough of EAC, we decided to do landscaping in the area instead, which we thought would be an easier job and would be done right away. EAC promised to start the work either July 4th if they were able to get the materials, otherwise they gave their word it would be first thing Monday July 6th. Today is Tuesday and they still haven't begun. We've asked many times for a refund since the problems started in February when it became apparent we were dealing with a cowboy outfit, but we were just given excuse after excuse and promise after promise. We warned them yesterday that we would be filing a complaint with the Revdex.com and possibly a law suit but they still didn't contact us. We just called them and demanded they begin the work or bring us a refund today. They promised to come this afternoon and so we wait.

EAC Landscaping Incorporated of Melbourne Florida, owned and operated by Edwin C, while performing trimming work using a long cutting tool punctured the air conditioning freon supply hose to the air conditioning unit thereby releasing freon into the atmosphere and disabling the cooling function of the air conditioning unit. This occurred during the hottest month of July. In spite of: witness statements, a licensed air conditioning repair expert, and the piece of hose cut by the trimming device, EAC Landscaping denies any wrongdoing and refuses to compensate for damages.
