We took this job even after telling them we did not move baby grande pianos they begged us saying they had no one else to call and that they would assume full responsibility if anything happened.  By cancelling on short notice it prevented us from booking any other job thus costing us money the fact that they are in the same business it would seem that they would have the common curtesy to understand why I kept the deposit.

This company requested our services and made a deposit for 2 hour the day of move they called shortly before scheduled time time to cancell

DO NOT USE EZ LOCAL MOVING IN MIDLAND, TX! They moved our stuff, but later on we found out they stole very valuable pieces of jewelry. Of course since we can't prove it, they won't do anything about it. They hire day laborers, which means they can be criminals, coming into your home, and if you're not around or looking, they're very liable to steal things. Plus they don't even know how to properly pack a truck. Stay away, go somewhere else, if you don't, they'll STEAL!
