Review: I bought a 03 Kia sorento from this car lot a day before thanksgiving this year (2013). Two days after I bought it the exhaust got really loud and they had me bring it to their mechanic to fix it. They fixed it cause they said I just bought it so they fixed it under a good faith agreement. I had their mechanic check everything and they said it was fine before I left. About a week later my break lights power steering goes out while I am driving with my four month old daughter in the car. I brought it in o get the oil changed and see what was wrong. They said it might be the harmonic balancer. I was getting off work one night and it completely died in my driveway. Brought it to a known car dealer in town and they said they would give me an estimate, but they can't tell what is wrong with it without taking my whole engine apart! They said it looks like a crank shaft pulley and it would cost thousands to fix! It never said on the paper on the window that these were internal problems. I looked it up and this is a reacurring problem with kia's. And I was not aware of this when I signed the "as is" agreement. That is now a breach of contract on their end. I just need a running vehicle to get to work and take care of my daughter. I am now out 1125 $ in a down payment and no vehicle.Desired Settlement: I either want them to A) give me another vehicle from their lot (even though I would prefer a refund) or B) fix the vehicle so I can get to work and pay them for the car and support my daughter.

The customer called and had submitted to us paperwork from the mechanic she had look at the vehicle on Tuesday the 17th and she was informed there was not a supervisor in the office who could look at it at this time but they would be back into the office on Wednesday. She than called late afternoon on Wednesday and asked about it and she was told it was forwarded onto a supervisor but it would take a little time to look into and see if anything could be done. She was called back that same day to be asked a few questions she did not answer. On Thursday someone from our company called and spoke to her about the situation and than talked it over with a supervisor again when they discovered that the part her mechanic was claiming was wrong without being able to guarentee from the paper we recieved from them was one our mechanic had replaced. So we called her back to inform her that our mechanic was going to be looking into the part which came from the manufactureer and weather or not it had a warrenty or could have been defective becasue we had replaced it, she at that point hung up on our company rep. So we are confused as to why she contacted you was this was already in the process of being look into as of the 17th and she was informed that day as well that a supervisor had been made aware but it would take sometime to get back to her since we had to contact mechanics etc, since we prefer our mechanic to look back over a vehicle esp given this situation where it could be a defective part we had already replaced.
