Good morning
Last fall I had my *** brought to E&W Auto to have a new battery, new starter and a new rear tire installed. I prepaid $600.
I could not get it returned to me until April 2020
That’s not the worst of it
I was returned with a used battery, used/rebuilt starter and a new rear tire.
He told me they were brand new.
As a result ....
The king pin nut/castle nut fell off because *** did not tighten it.
That could have killed me. I had to have my bike towed.
We couldn’t start the bike the used battery he put in it was wired wrong which shorted out and burnt up my hydrologic brake line.
My new tire is 1/8” between my tire and my belt and 1 1/8 on the other side.
The gasket on the used starter failed and blew primary fluid on my rear tire, etc
We found a random wire harness inside my fuel tank ???
I am missing a chrome shield that covers my CVI box
I brought this up to him and he said it is a rebuilt starter & new battery. I told him I took it to *** and the code says B7 and would not hold a charge, this was 3 days after I picked it up)
He told me to “ ***” I have the texts and photos.
There is much more but these are the most aggregious
I need your help, the monies for this were a gift and now I can’t pay for the tow or repair
I tried to reason with him but he won’t budge.
My ex boyfriend who was a witness is a local police officer.
Thank you
Ms *** was given a verbal estimate of 1200 to replace the starter, new tire, clean tank, clean carb, new fuel lines, fuel filters, and a new battery, in early 2018. The owner of E&W Auto, ***, went and picked it up free of charge. after picking the bike up it took Ms *** almost a year before we received any money to put on that bike. *** went ahead and ordered the parts. Last winter *** started asking about her bike and was able to give 100 more but said that would be it. Almost 6 more months come and go before we hear from her again and that’s through other people. *** gave the bike a new tire(160), new battery(130)and a refurbished starter for ( 150). That totals 440.00 plus 5 hours of labor, but he did not charge for that. -- I wanted to put a mechanics lein on it but *** said no, he wanted her to have her back bag. We can still do so I believe.
