My mom had a house fire back in 2013. Her home had to be gutted and basically rebuilt within the brick that was still standing. Her house should be basically brand new still considering it was only 7 short years ago that it was rebuilt by Ed Thompson and his crew. Her house is far from put back together in a professional way. Anywhere you sit and look up in the house you can see very apparent seams in the drywall on the ceilings. The windowsills are all made out of particle board instead of the wood she previously had so they bubble up and crumble due to the bottom line windows that were installed. The plaster walls she had all throughout her home are now weak sheets of drywall. The electrical wiring has some major defects in it . Most of the outlets and switches have no ground wire attached to them. The places where the walls and ceilings meet are cracking and have big gaps in the seams. Everything was done as cheaply and quickly as Ed Thompson could have possibly thrown it back together. Not to mention that Mr. Thompson took it upon himself to keep the rebates, accumulated points and tax credits for all of the energy efficient appliances my mother purchased for her home. I wish there was a way to go back and file insurance fraud for this case. He knew none of these things would be clearly noticeable for a few years.
