We hired E&M Construction to build a house for us. The project started out well other than having to fuss about the lunch debris left laying around at the job site. But the quality of finish work is subpar for the amount of money paid. The wiring in the attic is in open boxes and a couple of wires are wire nutted together and left laying on top of the joists. The exterior doors will not latch properly because the doors were not installed plumb or square. The concrete front porch is cracked from too much water in the concrete and no stress reliefs at inside corners. Many of the walls are not straight and the cabinets had to have shim spacers installed behind them. This also created problems with the countertops. The sheet rock tape & float in a closet corner and a living room corner split. When I've called him, he said he would call back tomorrow, but tomorrow never comes. I would not recommend his work to anyone who wants a quality built and finished home.
