Review: In November 2012 [redacted] of E L Painting LLC contacted [redacted] in Anacortes Washington about pressure washing and oil sealing the roof of our house at said address. We agreed and [redacted] gave us a quote of $2900.00 for the completed job. $1200.00 for pressure washing and $1700.00 for sealing/oiling the roof at said location. We agreed to paying him cash. There was no negotiation on type of payment. [redacted] agreed readily. The first payment of $1298.40, after taxes, was paid cash. Being that it was in the Autumn months we agreed with [redacted] that he would pressure wash the roof and then "treat" (Oil/Seal) the roof in Spring when it, the roof, had a chance to dry. [redacted] approached me, [redacted], on May 1 about sealing the roof then. When I asked him if it would be okay to wait until our income taxes came in and I would call him he agreed without hesitation. May 5 I called him and said he can come anytime. I just needed him call us first. He did not call until May 9th. and told us the cost of his oil went up to $4000.00 a bucket from the $1000.00 a bucket he told us in November. He stated he would be out the following week as he had a lot of business and was very busy and, that we were getting an incredible bargain since then price went up. I gave him until May 30 when I called again but there was no return call. I figured he was overwhelmed with jobs. I called again on June 31 asking the same question,..."Just need to know when you will be out to seal the roof at [redacted] Just call and let us know when you will be here." To date there has been no return phone call. As of July 13, 2013 there has no been phone calls nor any communication from [redacted] regarding this issue. His carbiners are still in the roof pinnacle that, when connected, protect those on the roof from falling or having an unsafe action. Desired Settlement: I want the roof sealed and oiled for the initial agreed on price of $1700.00, gutters cleaned as agreed by written agreement, flower beds cleaned out from roof garbage. ex. broken pieces of shingles in the flower beds and roof 'schmutz' that needs to be picked up. I want this accomplished by the last calendar day of July 2013, July 31. That will be 7 1/2 months from initial agreement of services. Long enough.

We need a phone call as to what day [redacted] will be here to finish the agreed job so we can be here as the trust has wained for [redacted] and his company.

I would like to see in writing a signed contract from these people as to this is a tarnish to my name so before you back this so called claim please provide a signed! contract before you print anything on the internet for it might not be legal without this signed form I've asked for.
