From: Debbie [redacted] [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, August 11, 9:AM ? Although Avon’s heated grips worked flawlessly on most [redacted] ’s & metric bikes, some threw spikes in the electrical circuit, either from the alternator or other sourceThis spike would fry the controller computer board, or make it all the way to the heater pad, and burn them up.? It did not just effect our controllers but blowing stereos, their heated grips, among other electronics! ? We have been working with an electronics company in the US that makes many electronic parts for all [redacted] model bikes, and has dealt with the spiking issues in the pastWe believe we have solved the controller burn out problem, however, at Avon we always do extensive testing prior to releasing a new product? We have been working for years to make sure that we have a system in place that when a alternator does throw a spike of electricity our circuit boards won’t fry? We apologize for the long delay in resolving our heater controller issues, but we have been at the mercy of the electronics company that will supply our new parts? We have a file which includes the complainant’s information that we will be replacing all grips once we have the final product that will no longer be subjected to any type of electrical issue of any kind ? ? ? Revdex.com: ? ? Two years and $later I am still hearing the same response? I still do not have my heated grips and have no idea when they are coming?
