Faulty workmanship for home renovation completed on 7/22/2018, which has required multiple visits from Mr. Dylan M. to repair and attempt to repair. Inferior work that has required repair by other services, such as plumbing and tile & grout kitchen/bathroom specialist.Tile flooring and grout cracking: TCNA requires a minimum requirement of ¾ inch subfloor with ½ inch underlayment or backerboard – the subfloor has been measured at 5/8 inch and backerboard at ¼ inch thus causing increased deflection and movement causing the grout to crack. Mr. M did not ensure a stable subfloor to avoid movement in the flooring and causing the subsequent cracking of the tile and grout. Mr. Moran also did not use the correct size backerboard which lead to additional movement. Shower corner grout cracking in the master bedroom leading to leaks in the shower drain into the basement: Violation of TCNA standard EJ171, which states that a flexible sealant should be used to allow movement – the grout used was cement and is not a flexible sealant. Bathroom leaks sealed and kitchen under sink plumbing pipes broke on 3 occasions, one time repaired by Mr. M and another time requiring professional plumbing repair.In addition cracking crown and floor molding at the joints and wood gap in floor at door side light, all requiring repeated repair throughout 2019.
