Do NOT use the Exxon Car Wash in Limerick, PA unless you want your car scratched!! My car is one year old and looked amazing before going through their car wash. After I went through their soft cloth car wash I had scratches on my hood and front bumper. I know it was caused by their car wash because the scratches were in a circular motion. They were in the same direction that their brushes spin. I know where my car has minor scratches since I usually wash it by hand. They definitely were NOT there prior to using their car wash.
I filed a written complaint that day with the manager and he sent it to corporate. Corporate took four weeks to get back to me. After speaking to the owner at corporate he said they aren’t responsible because of the sign they have out front before entering the car wash. He even hung the phone up on me and I then called back. I asked him if he hung the phone up on me and he said he did. I told him I never signed anything releasing them from liability. I paid them to wash my car, NOT scratch it! I now have hundreds of dollars worth of damage because of their faulty equipment. I will just wash my car by hand from now on like I usually do or use a touch less car wash. Give your business to another establishment that actually values your business because they clearly do NOT.
