Dunmore Appliance, Incorporated

On Feb1,2020 I purchased a *** Dryer from this business for $835.27. It began leaving black grease spots on my laundry. I reported it to the business and they replaced the heat outlet cover, insuring me that the problem was fixed. It wasn’t. I called back and spoke with Andrea, who I have learned is one of the owners. She told me I should contact *** directly and seemed uninterested in helping me until I said I would take the issue up with the Consumer affairs division of the PA Atty General. She then offered to replace the dryer. The new dryer also did the same thing, leaving the black spots on the laundry. When I called her about the second dryer, she immediately offered me my money back. She asked for the Credit Card number of the card used in the purchase. I gave it to her on May 18th. She asked if I wanted to pick out another brand dryer. I declined as I didn’t like her attitude and poor customer service. The dryer was picked up on May 19th 2020. Today I called her as my credit card has not been credited. I called her this morning, May31st. She claims to have submitted the credit 2 weeks ago. My *** says it has not been submitted. They offered to go after it on my behalf. But Dunmore Appliance, and in particular Andrea, are unscrupulous. I’m sure that they know there is something wrong in the *** dryer design. But it’s not my problem to argue it out with the company. In the meantime why hasn’t she credited my *** card?
