A contract for replacement of a kitchen and bathroom floor in a Senior Independent Living Condo was set up on Feb 2 2017. The contract was for a full spread vinyl floor installation. We purchased the raw materials from a local retailer. The contract was for full spread installation method; New sheet vinyl flooring. The appliances were removed the old flooring and scrape to bare floor cleaning and applying sheet vinyl flooring with adhesive. A deposit for the work was paid Feb 8 2017 for 430 and the balance was paid on March 11 2017 for 435. The work appeared complete and well done. The condo was empty for a until the beginning of April when a new Senior tenant moved it. Within one week the tenant noticed the flooring in the kitchen had bubbled up. It became worse and the flooring had severe hazardous bubbling. The appearance was that it had not been glued in that location which is the main traffic pattern on the floor. Contact with *** from *** was immediate with promises to look at the floor and get back to us. Multiple times this as occurred and to date no response or repair has happened. The floor remains blistered and a hazard and *** has told us on multiple times he would let us know what he intended to do.
