This place is garbage. You WILL be scammed out any amount of money they ask for. They will buy parts with your money, keep the parts, and put the old parts back on. Then, your phone calls will be ignored after they're done bending you over. I would never recommend this place to anyone
Review: I have a problem with my car jumping so I took it to Ducks Auto some time last week to get looked at. One of the mechanics called my phone about an hour after dropping the car off to tell me my issue. He specifically told me it was my front motor mount that went bad and it's causing the jumping and it will cost $430.00 to get fixed. I had to go to work after that so I couldn't get the job done that day so I told them I'll be back by the end of the week to get the job done. Friday of that week was my next day off so I dropped my car off that morning to finally get the job done. Around 5:00pm I went to pick my car up and as soon as I pulled out of the parking lot my car started to jump again. I didn't have time to take it back that day because they were closing at 5:30 but I did call them to let them know the problem was accruing. The mechanic that answered the phone told me to come back the next day because he might of missed something. I couldn't make it the next day because I had to work and bout time I got off the shop was closed but I did call to inform them that and they told me it wasn't a problem and to bring it by on Monday. When I got to the shop [redacted], one of the mechanics rode around the corner with me to feel the jumping. Which it did, and he told me to leave it at the shop for them to look at it. No later than 30 minutes they came to me with another problem which was the rare motor mount this time. I specifically asked them was this going to fix the problem this time and the mechanic told me "yeah". So I asked the receptionist to price everything out for me and she printed out the receipt which was $198.00 to get fixed. She called around to see which stores had the motor mount but about time they got the motor mount the store would be closed so she told me to bring it back the next day and she'll order the piece for me. I took my car back that next morning which was Tuesday to get fixed and when I got there today to pick it up the guy at the counter, [redacted] was very rude when I told him the price I was told. He got very nasty with me and told me that "she couldn't have to told that price because it was a five hour job to do". I specifically told him that that's what she printed out for me and if it costed any more than that I would've took my car else where to get fixed. He called the receptionist that printed out the receipt for me to get her side of the story and she told him the same thing. By this time he still wanted to argue with me and not give me my keys and I specifically told him prior to the argument that I had to go to work which he told me he didn't care about my job and I had to wait. Bout time I received my keys I was already late for work and no one wanted to show me where my car was located. Once I found my car I got in it to pull off and go to work and the jumping continued. earlier in the argument [redacted] was very sarcastic about getting the owner which he made a joke out of it and told me it was him. So when I called back to let them know the problem was still occurring I asked to speak with [redacted] and I kindly let him know that the problem was still occurring and this time I was taking matters into my own hands because I gave them a second chance to fix the problem they told me was occurring and once they found a new problem I still paid for it and I had to go through all that arguing and disrespect for nothing to get done.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to fix the jumping this time or give me a refund.
Like a T.V. show of a mechanic that would break parts so he'll get paid.
