Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2015/09/28) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Of course they have acted properly and professionallywhy wouldn't theyThey can't even work with someone to make payments on their outstanding debt when they are finally able to payI'm sorry it has been so many years BUT I COULDNT PAY and now I canAnd they are unwilling to work with meNice! I guess my next step is the Attorney Generals officeThank you
I am rejecting this response because:
I have contacted your office only to be told you can't tell when my exemption will be processed and my money returnedThat's all I would like from your company is to tell me when you are returning my money and stopping the garnishmentDon't you have a legal obligation to disclose information about my file?
I am rejecting this response because: I have called the "client" as stated and they show that I have a zero balance and nothing in collections I have attempted several times to speak to a lawyer from this firm but am always intervened by the Para-legal named Vinnie The response they have given is a blatant disregard for any of my concerns I have read the reviews of this firm and have noticed that the Revdex.com does not accredit this firm for the exact same reasons that I have complained of The firm continues to respond with the exact same response and has not resolved any issues I am completely disgusted by the continued harassment by this firm and its employees
I am rejecting this response because: The individual I spoke with on the phone is not the individual that submitted the responseThe assistant that I spoke with was NOT professional, nor helpful in any wayI have requested information on how this debt was suddenly transferred to my name when it was originally in my exhusbands, & I was advised was "I called in"In fact, NO I did not call inI continued to ask how someone can call & place debt in someone elses name without signing any documentation, & I was refused any helpsI received wage garnishment letters in the mail from this same law firm, yet they refuse to explain anything to me other than "I dont know"That is not a sufficient responseI want some sort of proof that *I*, *** ***, agreed to have debt for a person I have no desire to ever help, transferred over to my nameThis debt is *** ***, and if just anyone can call & say they dont want to pay for something so put it in a different persons name, every one would be doing so

I missed one payment and they filed a judgment! These people have no soul!
They are /censored/. They are of no help... they keep referring me back to the hospital to make payment arrangements and the hospital tells me they cannot help me. I have NEVER in my life dealt with such /censored/. The people at DS Erickson are condescending, arrogant and do not know how to talk to people. I understand they are a collection agency... but I am trying my best to make payments, it's not by choice, it's a matter of being a single mom with health issues, along with my son's health issues and I can only pay so much a month, but they think I should send what they want... Wish they would be in my shoes, maybe they would think twice by shunning me.
D.S. Erickson has continued to send information claiming to sue my husband and I, even though we filed bankruptcy (their account was in BK).
D.S. Erickson was notified over the phone, along with they received information in the mail from the government on the filing of our bankruptcy. The account they represent was included in the bankruptcy and the information of D.S. Erickson was correct to ensure they received all this information in the mail. They continued to send information out to make it seem as if they were suing me for a bill, as I stated, that is part of a bankruptcy. They are breaking an automatic stay and will be notified to stop all communications. The date on their newest mailing saying they are suing us is May 28, 2013, when we filed May 10, 2013. We know that other creditors received information of this filing very soon after, with some receiving information within a few days. D.S. Erickson is communicating with us, along with trying to claim on debt they know they cannot claim on. They need to follow the law, it is there for a reason.
