To whom it may concern, In reference to ID [redacted] , here is our responseThis patient was seen and registered in [redacted] Hospital ER on 5/3/At that time the patient provides their insurance information to the registrar, we then obtain that information from the hospital for the physician servicesBased on the data received from the hospital the information received was Medical Assistances and an electronic eligibility was submitted 05/21/and returned as the patient was eligible for Medical Assistance, and the claim was submitted to [redacted] and rejected, then statements were sent to Ms [redacted] After Ms [redacted] call Drexel on 2/04/although the employee added the insurance she failed to transfer services to the VAIf and when this bill denies for timely filing the patient will not be responsible for any cost relating to her services for Drexel Medicine pertaining to invoice [redacted] from our physician billing office.The patient will not receive any further letters stating she will be placed in collectionsOur system generates those letters automatically if the patient does not respond by second bill that was sentWe will follow up with Ms [redacted] to apologize for the inconvenience this has caused herThank you, Christine W***Supervisor of Patient Services
