Review: I thought I was visiting the [redacted] website when I agreed to purchase two theater tickets. When the tickets arrived, I found that I had paid far more than the face value of the tickets. The [redacted] sells these tickets for $99 each - an amount that is written on each of the tickets. I paid $390.10 for two tickets which includes a service charge of $70 plus a $15 mailing charge.

When I called Dreamtix, I was told that they can charge whatever the market will bear and that I should have known that I wasn't actually on the [redacted] website. The webiste that I was on said something like Local Ticket. It appeared when I googled [redacted] tickets.Desired Settlement: The tickets should cost about $200 and I would agree to pay a small and reasonable service charge, say $25. I would like a refund of $390.10 minus $225 or a total of $165.

Customer placed online order for event tickets from a ticket broker selling tickets at above face value. Customer was required to agree to terms and conditions prior to completing order making them aware that they were not buying directly from the venue. Supporting documentation is attached .

My complaint has not been satisfactorily addressed. I thought I was purchasing tickets to "Book of Mormon" directly from the [redacted] because of the manner in which the ticket seller described its services on Google. It turns out that the way they offer their services is extremely misleading to customers. Additionally, fine print is equivalent to a "contract of adhesion."
