I wish I didn't have to pick a star at all. I was looking into getting this mattress but wasn't ready to buy yet. Was telling my friend about it. She was ready to buy. I went to the website and sent her a referral. She bought the mattress and got $200 off and they actually sent me an e-mail giving me the code for the $50 Amazon gift card referral gift. When I tried to use it, it didn't work. Several e-mails (over a dozen) and a phone call and they said they were trying to figure out how to take care of this. I finally was told that I was not eligible because I hadn't bought a mattress. I saw this on their FAQ but did NOT read in fine print that I had to purchase a mattress to be eligible.

My friend did use the link. This FAQ answer must've been an old promotion because mine said I get a $50 Amazon gift card and my friend gets $200 off. And, it seems funny they would honor my friend's $200 off but not honor my $50 referral gift. I would not buy from this place at all. Customer service doesn't do the right thing.
When I first placed an order (9/12/2018) I was given 5-7 days for estimated shipping. Almost two weeks later I received an email saying my order was delayed and it will be shipped in 5-7 days. Every time I contact their customer service they tell me it will be shipped next week. I have contacted them 4 times and I get the same response - it will be shipped early next week. They will not issue a refund for a product that has not even shipped yet.
We placed an order and it was delayed shipping multiple times. After checking on the order status, still same answer "shipping next week". So I asked the question, where are they made. The response was #ch, I had to ask if that meant China. Customer server rep said yes. They purposely hide the origin of the mattress. You will not see any reference to the fact made in China. I cancelled the order, do not want a mattress made in China.
Paid a lot of money upfront only to have the mattress never shipped. Talked to several different people only to have each one tell me something different. They kept pushing the date back indefinitely giving me false ship dates. Calling multiple people within the "company" on the same day resulted in different promised ship dates. The customer service representatives who answer the phone are people located in different states who each give you different information.
This is the worst service you would expect. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS MATTRESS. All they do is sweet talk.
Ordered a mattress which was supposed to be shipped in 5 days. Did not ship for 4 weeks !
When delivered, they just left it in pouring rain outside the building. A $1300 mattress lying in heavy rain. No notifications.
THIS IS NOT A PROFESSIONAL COMPANY. They seem more like a company who makes the sale and then apologize profusely until it is delivered and then they go silent.
They seem more like scammers.
I will take them to court.
They are not even worthy of one star. This company has no sense of right and wrong. We ordered our mattress on August 25th, 2018. We were told it would ship within 2-3 days. This company did not ship our mattress for two weeks. We reached out to their customer service team via email multiple times, and never received a response. I reached out to them on social media, and all my comments were deleted and ignored. Today is September 18th, almost a month later, and we are still waiting on our mattress. Do not buy from this company unless you want to wait over a month for your mattress and deal with some crappy customer service.
VERY bad experience with this company. I chatted with someone on their website weeks ago, asking when I should order to guarantee delivery on a certain date. My delivery window was very tight and I wanted to be sure it was honored. I was told to order 10 days in advance which I did.
Long story short, after MUCH back and forth, delivery wasn?t going to happen until 2 weeks (at least) from my requested date. The order has been cancelled but I have lost weeks of time and now I?m trying to find something on very short notice. I would think twice about doing business with this company!!
Dreamcloud paints the picture of a great bed, and something that all customers would be thrilled to own. Only problem is that they don't ship their mattresses out. I ordered a mattress on 9/6/18, and received a confirmation email stating that the mattress would be shipped by 9/8. On the 8th, I checked the email to see that nothing had been shipped. On 9/9 I checked again, and all of a sudden, the website said due to high volume, the order is bring delayed. So I opened their online chat and was told that the order would be shipped in 5 to 7 days from the date of order. I questioned how they could send an email stating one thing and then change the timeframe, and was simply told "that was a mistake". Okay...? So, I called on 9/12, and spoke to a representative and he offered to refund $50 for the frustration. I explained that on a $1500 mattress, $50 is a joke of a refund, and I didn't particularly care to receive money back, I just simply want the mattress that has already been paid for. He apologized again and told me that the mattress would be shipped to me by 9/14, and I would have it 9/19. I explained that I have read the reviews claiming that people waited several months to receive their mattress, and if that was the kind of wait time I was looking at, I would rather cancel my order and spend the money elsewhere. He said he understood and again stated it would ship on 9/14. On 9/15, I checked the email again, and found that my order was still not shipped. I called again, and was told that they've been out of stock, and my order was going to be shipped in 5-7 business days. I referenced the conversation I had days prior, and stated that it's very misleading to customers, and crazy to be told so many different stories about an item that has been ordered AND paid for. (they charge your card as soon as you place the order!!) She the told me that the mattress would ship on 9/21, and I would receive the mattress 5-7 business days after that. At this point I lost my temper and just hung up before I said anything further. My husband then called to cancel our order. The representative tried to inquire why we were cancelling, and trying to get him to keep the order. He explained that this company was following unethical practices by keeping an item on their website that is no longer in stock, charging customers for their orders without even having the product, and then continuously delaying the shipment. After he said that, the rep no longer attempted to save the sale, but refunded the purchase. It's as though they are aware that they are running an unethical practice, but are not concerned with ripping people off. I wanted to share my experience to save others the frustration of dealing with this company. Unfortunately, we are still uncertain where we will get a mattress, but I'm so glad it will not be with dreamcloud.
I ordered a mattress from DreamCloud and when it didn't ship in a couple days I contacted the company. The advertisement and email said it would ship in 24 hours. I had to contact them and then prod them. It had already been five days, but she said it would be another 7 days. Today is day 7 so I contacted them again. This time instead of shipping out as promised it will be another 7 days. I know this too is probably a lie, so I canceled my order.
Also, they claimed they sent out an email, which they did not. They did finally send out an email 1 week after my mattress was supposed to ship.
I was told I'd receive $75 off for my inconvenient wait. I did not receive the money and it's been a week.
I was told I'd receive 2 free pillows also for the wait. They never shipped.
I was told it would only take a couple days to see my money in the bank. The email says it will take 10+ days. Why?!
Please, Do not purchase anything from this company.
Also, I'm currently trying to call them and supposedly there is a 4 minute wait. It's been 10 minutes so far... I have a feeling no one will be answering this phone call.
When ordering my mattress, I was told it would be delivered to my door within 2-5 business days. Now, nearly 7 weeks later, not only do I not have a bed, but there has been no sense of urgency at all regarding customer service, delivery dates, communication or correspondence. Even when sharing with them I am pregnant and have no bed, they still did not act swiftly to resolve the issue. After finally being contacted by a manager about 4.5 weeks into the issue, the manager then did not reply to my emails or calls in a timely manner. In looking at other reviews this is clearly a negative trend. There are so many great bed companies doing similar things, I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere!
My DreamCloud experience. The website said I would have my mattress in two to five days. Sounded great so I placed my order. Three days later my order had not shipped. Called in to the company and the girl told me there was a slight delay and my order would ship Friday. Today is Saturday and it had still not shipped. Called the company again to cancel my order. This lady asked why and I explained I have a two lie limit when dealing with people. She then explained she couldn't cancel my order because it had not shipped yet. ***? Not how above board companies should operate!
I have requested through chat, phone call, and email information regarding a delivery day, after a promise of two day shipping. It has been three weeks and no information has been provided, I've been hung up on, chat disconnects, and no answers. Yes, they charged my credit card the full amount. Awful experience, awful customer service, and promises not kept.
Do not waste your time. Ordered my Dream Cloud mattress on 8/14, was told it would ship on 8/16. Then the company delayed ship date to 8/22-8/30. I finally called to see what was going on and the company said it would be mid-September before it shipped (that's one MONTH after I ordered it). Not compensated for my time and effort to see if my mattress would ever come. Asked for my money back and they did refund within 2-3 days.
Their website states in numerous places that the mattress will be shipped within 1 business day. I placed my order and only after the order was placed was I notified that it wouldn't be shipped for 2 more days. I proactively found this out by checking the status.
Today is the day it is supposed to ship and after contacting customer service and being told that it will now be mid-September (3-4 weeks) before it ships.
The website should be updated to reflect accurate delivery times BEFORE a customer submits an order. Anything else is false advertising. I was greatly looking forward to this mattress but have since cancelled my order as I have no reason to expect it will be delivered by that date.
Very professional from start to finish. We have bought mattresses on line from other companies and it turned out terrible. This company is top notch!
They were helpful in helping me with figuring out shipping logistics and how to obtain our mattress as close to our closing as possible. The mattress was delivered with tracking and it was delivered in a tough bag rather than a box. It was tough enough to drag on concrete.
So far everything including the mattress has been fantastic!
