The safety equipment did not work as it has never been checked. The last inspection of the fire extinguisher was in 2016, the emergency lights did not work and the license that is displayed in the house expired in 2018.
I would suggest to find a different property management company as this one is only interested in the money they make but neglect the maintenance and proper cleaning of the house.
This company has failed to reimburse me $5315. for a rental property that they canceled.
They have failed to respond to phone messages and emails.
I booked rental property located at *** in early March of 2019. The rent was to run form Feb. 23 to Mar. 31 2020. I have paid Dream Orlando Vacation in full the amount of $5,315. On Jan. 30, 2020 I received an e-mail from Nikki D VP of Dream Orlando stating that the property owner phoned her the previous evening informing her they will no longer be renting out their property. Nikki D also stated she had no alternative property available and would be refunding my payment. I contacted Nikki by phone on Feb. 7 to inquire about the status of our refund and she stated the refund was put through on Feb. 4. I immediately contacted our bank to check and they informed me no credit had been issued. As of today Feb. 10 Dream Orlando Vacations has NOT issued my credit and they do not answer my phone calls or emails.
.
I am seeking a refund from Dream Orlando Vacation in the amount of $5315.
We mailed the guest their payment but they emailed me advising that the post office messed up and forwarded their mail to early. I have this email if you would like it.
Then I asked for the correct mailing address and I stopped payment on the first check and I have mailed them a new one.
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
The business told me on Feb. 25 that they were cancelling the check and issuing a new one to be sent directly to our March 1 address in Florida. Upon arrival the original check was in our box. I called the business on March 2 and was told the check was canceled and a new one would be coming soon. I called the businesses bank (***) to verify this. *** told me the check had never been canceled and they had no record. I endorsed the check and mailed it to my bank for deposit. It has since cleared.
Dream Orlando Vacation Rentals was hired in Feb 2018 to manage our short term vacation rental property held under *** 401k PSP. Payments for rentals were made in the early stages of the contract, then slowly waned. At this time, Dream Orlando has since been fired and owes *** 401k PSP (Gregg A. Karas Trustee) $16k in deposits, rent royalties and other monies which were to be held in escrow. Apparently, Dream Orlando Vacation Rentals has illegally misappropriated escrow funds to other uses and has not paid. In addition, about $4k in attorney's fees are due as per the contract.
Product_Or_Service: Vacation Rental Management
Other (requires explanation) Payment in the amount of $16k + attorney's fees of $4k + interest & damages.
This client has highly inflated the amount of money owed to them and as such we are holding payment and have hired an attorney to fight our case. We clearly sent them a monthly statement very month and they received their final statement which shows only 11K was owed as they continued to dispute and argue they are owed more we hired the attorney and are now in litigation.
