Review: These guys are false advertising. All of their properties they claimed to offer qualified buyers are newly renovated homes with a comfortable mortgage, no closing costs, and a minimal down payment. The real estate goes by two different names dream homes and big Brooklyn rehab as the seller, when it came to closing I had to give them close to 37, 000. 00 to the seller big Brooklyn rehab including 5,000.00 down payment payable to [redacted] give them 10,000 for brokers free to dream home, and other checks cut out to other key players. They said they would make sure everything that needed to get taken care of in the home at closing would be taken care of, including having a written contract, that one of the things would be for them to install two new gas meters cause they claim this it a two family house but there is only 2 meters, one is for the cooking gas for both apts which needs to be separated into 2 so each apt can pay their own gas bills. My home passed inspection but after living in my house for a few weeks I found a countless number of issues that need to be completed meaning they just made cosmetic improvements that mask major problems. They advertised the home to have a finished basement but what they did was put carpet over a floor that was not leveled and damaged. I need to do major structural repairs and weatherproofing. There is a leak in the roof and is causing mold on the sheet rock where a tenant is residing and the water leak penetrating in the basement has caused the sheet rock and carpet to get wet moldy where I had to remove the sheet rock to see where this water is seeping in from and found a hole in the wall. I had complaint to then and they where worried more about me releasing escrow before they did any work on my home and refuse to make any necessary repairs and they screen my calls. I don't even know if there is a cert of occupancy on this home.Desired Settlement: I would like for someone to be held liable for breach of contract, the authenticity or validity of a contact in question, for failure to honor contract or agreement, the product[home ] I purchase had poor workmanship,and for a sale that was misrepresented, refund me the brokers fee they charged me when they are the owners of the property, fix the necessary things that they knew where issues but never fixed it and does that need to be done on the contract.

At this time, I have not been contacted by Dream Home Realty/Big Brooklyn Rehab regarding complaint ID [redacted]. They have not contacted me at all, I have not received no means of communication by mail, phone or in person, about getting anything fixed in the home, including the installation of two new gas meters and the representation of the that the roof will be free of any leaks. Currently I have incurred the cost of these replacing these major defects that they negligently and willfully with held the knowledge of such hidden defects of said premises to willfully deceived me. I at the time of closing, I did not know of any cover up that they did to hide the defects until I lived in it and it started raining in my home and cause major water damage due to the leaking roof, Which at the time of inspection they had the roof closed off so it couldn't be inspected. They put carpet in the basement to cover up a uneven broken concrete floor, We told them at the time of closing to remove the carpet because it was not good to have carpets in the basement because basement, the project manager response was that he never seen it leak in the basement. In may I first contacted them and sent them the photo of the basement carpet being wet because of the leak they came and inspect and never got to us to fix it all they were concerned was about us releasing the escrow. Which I am not releasing until repairs were made and outstanding water bill to be paid off. The only thing They did was pay the water bill but still no contact from them, and it seems they screen calls cause when I call them from my cell phone they never pick up unless I call from a different number, which they keep going on about releasing the escrow. I gave up going to them and calling them and getting no response from them. I have enclosed the documents he filed to get the permits to remove any and all violations which he didn't.
