Bad experience I gave a deposit for a gordon setter puppyI was arranging a shipping dateThen I got an email that her friend gave the puppy to another person and why I wanted my deposit back I got the run around
I purchased two boykin spaniel puppies from her and she told me they were registeredWhen I received my two puppies they did not have any paper she said and my female puppy couldn't even walk hardly from something wrong with her back legs I noticed it ans I contacted her about it and I received no reply what so ever I then got my husband to call from his phone and she answered so then we told her what our vet said was wrong she has Luxating patella so bad the vet said he would not touch it so we then told her about it and she said we could send the dog back and she would send me another one but at this time I did not trust her from ignoring me already so she told me she would refund me dollars back and send me their papers that they papers has not yet came in so days go by and still nothing so my husband texted her and she said she sent the check in the mail weeks go by nothing from then on she started to ignore us so I called the boykin spaniel society to find out that she just
I got my *** from *** in October of last year (2016), and in March of this year (2017) is when *** *** *** had his first seizureWe went to the vet and he was diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy, basically we don't know what is causing the seizuresI contacted *** when I received this news quality and asked if I had any form of health guarantee on the dog because quite frankly I couldn't remember, she said she would get back to me after she checked her filesShe never didSince I contacted her with my concerns she has been unhelpful and rude in helping meShe is an unprofessional breeder and should not be looked to to provide top quality dogs
I should have submitted a review sooner, as we had the same issues with getting a Gordon puppy from her last year
After receiving our deposit, she assured us repeatedly that she would keep us up to date on the progress of the litterWell, the whelp date passedNo contactSeveral more weeks passed, and I inquiredNo responseAfter several more attempts, she told us that the dog needed an emergency c-section, and the puppies didn't survive
Things happen, and so we agreed that she could hold the deposit for the next litter, which was to be whelped about a month laterAgain, the date came and wentAgain, no contactThis time, it was even harder to get in touch with herWhen we finally did, we were told that it was a pregnancyAgain, we may have taken her at her word, however, a reputable breeder would be up front about difficulties, and not require contact attempts
At that point, we asked for the deposit backIt took the threat of a Revdex.com claim to get her to return itWe documented EVERYTHING, and so after a month of ***, we finally got it back
This is not a reputable breeder in any regardSince then, I have been introduced to far better, so please choose carefully
Draco Kennels - *** *** is running a puppy mill and scamming people out of money and their puppy She would not answer which puppy we purchased and rude on the phone I texted her asking which color yarn on the puppy is ours and that we would be picking up the puppy in April and the return text said we would get a refund We will see if we get the check, more important we want the puppy
Please be very careful buying from this lady She will take your money and not give you your puppy and lie about what happened to the puppy She said the mother smothered the puppy That is not going to happened to a six week old puppy Stop the Scam,
We put a deposit on a Gordon setter puppy and few days before we are suppose get the puppy she said her friend gave it away got the runaround to to get our money back don't deal with this lady
My husband and I purchased a Brittany Spaniel puppy in MarchWe drove to Kentucky to pick her up before her brothers were put on the airplaneWhen we picked her up, the breeder informed us that one of her kennel mates had vomiting on our puppyShe received a bath and was handed overWe thought nothing of it and brought her home
She was home for days before the vomiting startedShe stopped eating and kept vomiting and having diarrhea, so I took her into the vetThe vet ran test and our puppy was diagnosed with Parvovirus She was placed on IV fluids and was heavily medicatedWe were informed that the virus can only be spread with vomit and exposure to diarrheaRemembering the vomit from when we picked her up, we contacted the breederOur intent was to simply inform the breeder to let the other new owners knowThe breeder refused to believe the dog was sick before and insisted our vet did not know how to handle the virusWe mentioned being refunded some cost of the puppy and she said only if the puppy expires After a week of isolation, hour care and a bill of $3,we were able to bring the puppy homeTo this day our puppy still has problem with vomiting. We contacted the breeder to inform her that the dog is still alive and have yet to have a phone call returnedI still do not know if the other new owners were informed and how many other puppies were infectedParvovirus is deadly and expensive to treat
We also received the puppy with an umbilical herniaWe were not informed beforehand After research, it has been discovered that the hernia is geneticMeaning she used a dog with the condition to breed, which is not recommended
Overall, I would not recommend this breeder and would actually want to give stars but it is not an option
