Mr. [redacted] contacted us about repairing a folding machine. He was told by Scott to ship it to us and we would take a look at it for him. He shipped this machine to us via UPS. The machine was damaged during shipment and was not packaged appropriately to ship from California to Indiana. Mr. [redacted]...
was instructed to file a freight claim with UPS. We cannot file a freight claim on something that we did not ship, this was his responsibility since he paid to have it shipped to us. In the meantime we removed the jammed paper from the machine and tried it out ourselves. It worked perfectly. We then packaged it back up and shipped it back to Mr. [redacted]. We did not charge him for this repair and we shipped this machine back to him free of charge. No money exchanged hands and there was no mention of offering a new machine when his old one worked just fine.
