D.R. Garage

The Garage did some work on my daughters car that resulted in further damage of her vehicle. When I contacted the Garage, the owner hung up on me.
The Garage told my daughter she needed a new catalytic converter on her 2000 hyundai. She had it replaced and the next thing we know she starts having "transmission" issues among many other issues. We took her car to a reputable garage and we were told that "The Garage" put a catalytic converter on her car where a "flex pipe" was originally! The hyundai dealership sent the (good) mechanic a diagram of my daughters car and it revealed the car only has ONE catalytic converter, not TWO. Due to installing an additional catalytic converter, my daughters car required $1800.00 additional work to fix what "The Garage" did. "The Garage" hung up on me when I tried to discuss this issue with him. I want my daughter to be reimbursed for the repairs she had to incur due to the MESS the GARAGE created. Who puts a second catalytic converter on a car where a PIPE is originally installed??? My daughter is young and trusted this garage to fix her car and he took advantage of her. Period. All total, The garage probably got (all total, would have to add up all the receipts)$2500.00 out of my daughter and his work resulted in $1800.00 worth of further damage. THE GARAGE should NOT be in business.
