I bought a 2016 Cadillac Escalade that was advertised and negotiated as a certified pre owned vehicle. After I signed all the finiacial paperwork and started signing the rest of the paperwork they disclosed that it couldn’t be certified because it was bought from Canada. I felt compelled to still buy it because I had already signed the paperwork. Then they said that they would take care of me and get me a better warranty, being that a certified vehicle comes with a warranty, they never disclosed tha cost of the warranty and had me sign a sign a piece of paper accepting warranty with no price listed. I went back thru the paperwork they tried to charge me 4500 dollars extra for a warranty that was suppose to be included. Now the real problem is the vehicle is having a safety malfunction with the brakes were the service brake assist comes on and the brakes lose power and it feels like your braking on ice. I have had it in service for this issue 4 times so far every time they tell me it’s fixed and it does it again a day or two later. When I’ve addressed this issue with the general manager and the used car manager they assure me it will get fixed and they will make it right. After proving they couldn’t fix it they took me into the conference room and told me they would start a gm buyback. They also told me that they could or would find a different 2016 Escalade to trade me. They contacted me once since then to try to up sell me to a 2019 lease. When I told them I wasn’t interested in a 2019 lease they said they would continue with the other options. They stopped contacting me and quit responding to my emails. This dealership false advertised this vehicle and they have not fixed a safety malfunction that is warrantied. They told me what they would do to make it right and they have not done anything. They simply told me enough to get me out of the dealership and then they just forgot about me.
The very next day Mr *** came into our service department and said the Escalade is still having the same problem, I spoke with him and we sent in a case to GM for a buy back on this SUV. It has been submitted to GM so we are in the process of getting help from them to resolve this situation for Mr ***. We had a discussion about this being possibly a 3 month process, he agreed to be patient and get this handled. We also talked about looking for a specific used Platinum Escalade to replace this rig after the buy back is done. We have been in direct contact with Mr ***. He was kind and is willing to be patient throughout this buy back case for this 5 time brake issue that cannot be fixed thru service. He is very aware what he has chosen to do first and that's the buy back. We are waiting on GM at this moment and have been in direct contact with our GM Representative also. We will take care of Mr ***.

I purchased 3m protection for my vehicle which was never completed and Doug’s Cadillac will not return my phone calls and are refusing to refund my money
