The asset management down to the Leasing brokers are the worst. If you want a bad deal on a lease, have all the language in your lease be one sided, get absolutely ripped off to the highest degree, then call these guys and sign up because that's what you'll get.
Actually...stay away from these clowns.
The company charged a $190 fee for keys I returned to them and have refused to respond to my multiple attempts to contact them
I have been trying to communicate with this office for almost a month since I received my security deposit and I've been sent away every single time with obvious lies and fake excuses as to why they "can't " help or speak to me.
There was $190 taken from my deposit listed as a charge for keys. I returned every single one of my keys during my move out inspection and I have proof of that as well as a witness. I have a busy schedule and have still managed to come up there twice and both times "no one who could help was there" as well as having my number taken down on 7 separate occasions and being told i'd receive a call back, and every time that hasn't happened.
Their regular building conditions are already negligent and unsafe which is half of why I moved out; and the entire process of my move out dealing with the maintenance, reception, and management was the most unorganized and unprofessional experience I've ever had with a company.
On December 2nd, the day of the move out inspection, I had the management Do the walk through due to my previous list of estimated charges being full of unlawful uses of my deposit. The managers were 45 minutes late, making me late for an appointment I had set for afterwards. I gave them each of my keys, completed the walkthrough, and provided them with the forwarding address for my check. After the 14-day waiting period stated in my lease I called the office inquiring about check. I was told that they hadn't even began to process my deposit and that i'd have it soon so I verified they had the correct address and hung up. Later that day my Aunt contacted me to tell me that the check had been sent to her address and had gotten wet in a spam box they had because my name wasn't associated with the property. So not only were they incorrect about the status of my deposit, but they sent it to the wrong address which almost got it destroyed. When I received it, I immediately looked over the itemized list of charges only to see a charge of $190 named "keys". I went up to the office that day but the management isn't in on weekends so I called that Monday and told them the issue. I wad told that the manager was "in a meeting" after which they took down my name and number and told me she'd get back to me as soon as possible. They never contacted me back that time, or the other six times they used the same exact lines. After all these attempts to reach out as well as seeing from their yelp page that this is a scam they've run on multiple occasions, I'm at a loss for what I can do. All I want is my money back and some sort of auditing to keep them from continuing the scheme with more tenants. Attached is a screenshot from a video of the apartment I took on the day of the inspection which bas proof of the date and location in my iCloud software. It shows as my keys present and I have someone who can verify that they were all handed off to the unit-term manager immediately at the start of my inspection.
I would like my $190 refunded to me as well a statement on this situation and the others, and how they are going to avoid this level of negligence in the future.
