This Home owner is twisting the actual events of what happened We did turn on her system march 29th and at that time she signed off that everything was working properly She called the office on May stating her system has not worked since we turn on her system on March 29thAnd
then she said her hoes connection does not work also.We went out to her home that day and found that her system was working 100% as it should be We also found that the hoes connection she stated that was not working was not part of the irrigation system at all We advised her that it was part of her plumbing system and nothing to do her sprinklers.We turned on her hoes connection anyway and flushed debris from the line We gave her a service call bill which represents 50% of our actual charge.When she made the appt she was advised and agreed to the feeWe reduced it to try to make her happy.She has made up all her remarks about how she was handled and all fronts She simple was looking for something for nothing After she was screaming at me on the phone on may 20th I told her I would write the balance offIt was still not good enough for her.We went over and above for her and it still was not good enough for her We strive to make everyone happy but recognize we can not This is important to us and want to have this manor resoled Please contact us if you require additional information

are a small family owned company if you looked up small business you might find a photo of our company, since starting Douglas Distributing in November of 2000 with my wife Sharon we have brought in my mom Barbara two of my kids ( all four worked here during the summers while in collage) one of there significant others, one of my nieces, two life long friends since age 10 considered family plus 2 others that have been with me for years and considered family. I personally started in the industry in November 1982 and have grown to become the largest vend product distributor in the state of Indiana by educating my customers the more educated my customers are the more likely they are to become and stay a customer. But the number one thing I pride myself in is my accessibility to my customers anytime they have any issue they can call my mobile phone we will talk about the issue straight forward no ** and fix it.
     Now to deal with [redacted] complaint I am not going to get into a he said she said with anybody. The facts are at no time did [redacted] ever contact me with any concerns if there where any communication or misunderstanding I was never made aware of or given the chance to fix. I will personalty reach out to [redacted] and let him know that if he is unhappy with our offer of his non working equipment I will be happy to return the machine so he can sell for a number he is happy with, he was never pressured into selling. Moving forward anytime [redacted] has a machine he wants to trade or sell he will get his options in writing and have to check and sign the option he prefers.   I will also remind [redacted] that we are here to continue to educate him as we have already done and  spent hours to help him grow his business .
 
        [redacted] called me at 8pm Friday ( I don't know of any other company in the industry that would take and ultimately help at 8pm on a Friday night) to complain about a machine not cooling that he said we had for 3 weeks and didn't even check. This could have escalated quickly to a shouting match if I didn't know what questions to ask, he said he was standing in front of the machine for over an hour with the door open,  that means on that model machine the compressor won't run and won't get cold. On that model machine the compressor is on a delay and will only start to run ten minutes after you close the door. So after I explained the problem his error he missed NO sales at the motel over the weekend and I received no thank you and no apology for the accusations .
