Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Per Dorel's policy, the 1-year warranty starts at time of purchase and does not stipulate an exception to this policy in case of manufacturer discontinuing the productThe retailer is not a party to this as they are not involved in the warranty and is therefore not seen as a resolution path Sincerely, [redacted]
We have been able to locate a replacement crib for this customerWe have been in contact with the customer and have agreed to replace the entire crib with a new one.The customer has agreed to our offerYou can consider the matter closed
We truly apologize for the inconvenience this has causedWe certainly understand and sympathize with the situationThe model in question has been discontinued by the manufacturer since February of As such, the manufacturer no longer services the unit even though the retailer where the unit was purchased from may still have stock and is selling it at an extremely low cost (70% Off)The manufacturer no longer carries any replacement parts or offer any other resolution.The customer has informed us that the retailer where the unit was purchased from is willing to offer the customer a creditThis is by far the best option and course of action in this case
