On September 1, 2015, Mr*** came to our shop to inquire about installing a new top for his *** *** ***.
We explained to him that the top has to be taken off the vehicle and sent to the manufacturer to be custom made, using parts from the original top. This process would take an estimated to weeks. The manufacturer gives us an estimated time on what it should take. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee on that time and we are at the mercy of the manufacturer. That time frame is not including any shipping to and from the manufacturer. He agreed to this and left a deposit. We took the top off the vehicle and had it shipped to the manufacturer. We called the manufacturer on or about Sept10th. They informed us that, yes, they had received the top on Sept8th and the new top should be shipped back the week of the 28th. We called Mr*** to let him know this statusOn October 2nd we called the manufacturer for an update. We were told that they were backed up and it was not ready as yet. They stated it should ship on the 6th. Again, we called Mr*** and left a message for him with this information. When we didn’t receive the top on Oct12th, we again called the manufacturer for an update. We were told it had shipped out that day and was scheduled to be delivered to us on Oct14th. Mr*** called us and we informed him of this update. We scheduled him for the first available appointment which will be October 19th
