this is for the st. petersburg location, however they still told me what they did in this review about the clearwater location, that it's a better possibility to get it there, because this woman normally doesn't give it to people.
i'm a disabled veteran with all sorts of problems, can't drive, so going here after having to reschedule my appointment several times due to va medical records and them never putting (anxiety) down in my list of isd#'s meant I had to go back down to my doctor's office to see them and get that put into the list of medical conditions, then signed the paperwork to let them know it was them that want me on it, and the doctor literally turned me down anyways after 3 days of getting the run around. they said sorry, you can get your refund or go to see our other doctor in clearwater, knowing full well the only reason I even went to them in the first place was because they were right there. EVEN HAVING THE LISTED ISD# FOR ANXIETY THE DOCTOR ASKED FOR AND YEARS OF HAVING BEEN ON THE MEDICATION FOR IT. funny. really cute wasting my time like that. it's not even the 3 days that's bugging me, it's the entire month I had to spend, only to be nervous I was going to miss the appointment so I was up the entire night before and missing the bus so I didn't make the appointment time, which cost me 50$. don't forget that, really please don't. so all in all, this whole adventure to get something like this for a disabled veteran that really needs it, cost me 80$ because I was in overdraft when I initially called to make the appointment, which they told me and reassured me and everything over the phone that I would be fine because of my service. lying through their teeth the whole *** time.
she literally told me, there are a list of things they have to select from a drop down box to put in to the computer for them to be able to give you access to the dispensaries, as she put it, and chronic pain since 2003 doesn't count. depression doesn't count. a bunch of other things doesn't count, nope, wanted PTSD / ANXIETY. and even then, I was turned down. how rude. lied to me up front about this to take my money, then rescheduled me to go out to clearwater with the hopes of getting it, no guarantees tho, but its more likely you will get it. man.. no, im tired of this ***, DO NOT GO HERE.
I REPEAT, DO NOT GO HERE. if you do and you are lucky enough to get it, congratulations. they must have a quoto to fill and you were one of the ones she could give it to and that's all that means. don't waste your time. honestly. dont.
DO NOT go to Docmj. They charge $189 every 7 months. *** charges $99 for the same service. Docmj is charging the same fee for your initial visit and all your follow-up visits. They know other places charge half for the follow up visits and don't care. What they are charging should be illegal.

Use a different email client or marketing company that does not harass people
After further investigation, it was found that the clients email address was used in a Pre- Qualifying survey for our services. As a result, there were emails sent regarding such services. At this point in time, the clients email has been removed from our systems and will no longer receive contact.
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
The email system has told me time and time again that I would be removed from a list. I also maintain that I never signed up for this through a survey. Time will tell if they got it right this time.
They will not refund all of my money that they kept when I cancelled an appointment.
I made an appointment with Doc MJ for a month out. They immediately charged my credit card $169.00. Two days later I called them to cancel it because something came up on that date and without informing me, they charged me $25.00 to cancel the appointment. They refused to refund the entire $169.00. Tried for three days to contact a supervisor and no one will call me back. They stole my money.
I want my $25 back.
DocMJ is a Physicians Group that operates over twenty clinical offices in the state of Florida. Our Administrative Headquarters handles the coordination of all of those offices. We answer every call as received and handle the call with a level of customer care that may go for long call handling durations. This is the same service we give to every call.
Per Company Protocol, all Billing issues are to be directed to the Billing Dept. As such the billing departments mode of correspondence with all PT's disputing any charge is done via email. Each time a Pt contacts disputing a billing issue that can only be handled by the billing department they are informed of receiving invoices with additional information for which they will be able to respond.
Company policy is if after 24 hours of booking a patient cancels their appointment there is a $25 dollar processing fee. This is to cover the cost of time put into the patient chart and obtaining medical records on their behalf.
Our policy stated as below:
CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancel after 24 hours - 100% refund minus $25 fee.
Reschedule/no-show/cancel an appointment less than 48 hours prior- $50 fee
*If the scheduled exam falls within 48-hours of booking, the refund could be subject to the $50 fee.

A Patient may reschedule their appointment and not incur any fee if done so in advance of the aforementioned 48 hours prior to scheduled appointment.
This policy is expressed on our website, confirmation email of the appointment, and by the representative informing the Patient at the time of booking of their appointment. The Patient at any time has the ability to cancel or reschedule their appointment directly from the email confirmation by clicking on "Manage Appointment" section.
Alternatively, if a patient views our main website www.docmj.com there is a section entitled Patient Portal: https://docmj.com/patient-portal/
A patient may log on and view their scheduled appointment, and make any adjustments needed. This is provided to the patient for their convenience, this is done so if they prefer to not call into our mainline, or are unable to reach one of our representatives.
These are all options we as DocMJ provide to our Patients to be as accommodating as possible.
We have reviewed that our records and have shown the Patient has not opened any email correspondence providing appointment information, billing, information and so forth.

I was NEVER informed of any cancellation charge when I called your office to cancel my appointment. Had I known, I would have just rescheduled. My credit card refunded my $25 and will take it up with you from there. Fraud would be s good description of your service which I will NEVER use again nor will my friends after I told them what you did. Taking advantage of sick people is just SHAMEFUL! Case closed! I only can thank the Revdex.com for their assistance in this matter.
