Review: I contacted dobsearch.com to have my public records remove from appearing in public search and theirs a autoreply email that I got from which in order for me to have my records remove from public eye, I have to click the instruction from which it does not work(server not found).

I also search in [redacted] on how to remove my records from dobsearch.com and reddit gave instruction(DOBSearch.com* - In order for us to “opt out” your public information from being viewable on the public DOBsearch People Finder search results, we need to verify your identity and require faxed proof of identity. Proof of identity can be a state issued ID card or driver's license, or notarized letter. If you are faxing a copy of your driver's license, you may cross out the photo and the driver's license number. We only need to see the name, address and date of birth. Please fax to [redacted] and allow 4 to 6 weeks to completely process your request. It is your responsibility to ensure legibility of your document).

I faxed my drivers license but their fax machine does not work.Desired Settlement: I would like to be opt-out. Heres the link of ALL my information.

We were never contacted by the complainant, and we have no record of the complainant ever being a paid customer of ours. We do not administer a reddit page and have no fax number for addressing the complainant's issue. The complainant needs to visit [redacted] - which was clearly indicated on the pages the complainant has already viewed, and both the server and web page are completely functional. This is an automated tool to remove listings, but the user needs to select specifically which records pertain to himself, as there are far too numerous listings for the name "[redacted]", most of which pertain to other individuals.

I did email through website this morning then it said to into another site and could not get through.

Review: First I need to state that I could not find DOBsearch.com physical address or a contact phone number. I believe this vendor address and published FAX numbers are not correct based on several discussions on security blogs. I am opting out from all data brokers sites for security reasons. I ran a search on DOBsearch.com and found my record with associated names that needs to be removed. I fallowed the instrictions to opt out but at the end of the process I only got an alert that I too many attempts were made or something similar. I sent an email to their tech support using the online form but got a standard auto reply from"do not reply" mail address(I copied the email content at the bottom). There seem to be a problem with opting out from this site. I found several blogs and security discussion on this vendor's opt out practices which made me a bit concerned. It is very important that these sites should respect individual's privacy and security and do not sell individual's info as candy thru online requests. After making several attempts to remove my info thru their OPT out process I only realized that now they collected more info such as my IP address, location, email and phone number and at the end I was nothing but another foolish citizen!
