DME Exteriors

After an August 2018 major wind & hail storm, DME was in our community soliciting business. We had already contacted our insurance company for the damage, then visited with Dan, (Owner of DME). He promised us window replacements, new siding & roof on house and garage to be complete by end of October. However, his negligence in hiring reputable subcontractors & he not ordering materials in a timely fashion, resulted in many delays. Our detection of theft of alcohol from our garage while his crew was working, lead to our discovery of damage on our new garage siding which then needed to be re-ordered and redone.
Dan could not provide us with an itemization of materials & labor, he only worked off information he received from our insurance company and myself. Along with his unending excuses, he demanded payments even thou work was not completed. When we pushed to have project(s) completed before winter weather set in and holiday entertaining, we were then promised everything would be done by Thanksgiving, then Christmas, when in fact, it was not complete until end of January, 2019. Upon completion, we provided our last payment. Now, 3 ½ months later, subcontractors are contacting us as DME has not paid them for services they provided to our home, which we paid for. We are now concerned with liens being placed on our home because of DME’S poor business.
DME has caused our family a lot of mental & emotional turmoil. We have missed many hours of work to accommodate his schedule and provided numerous documentations of proceedings throughout the project.
