Review: My car was towed/impounded after regular business hours from a private lot - that I then had to pay an arm and a leg for to get back after hours ($225 for impound, $90 for after hours - even though it was towed after hours, and $30 more for "half-day storage" when they literally had my care for 5 minutes over an hour). A warning sticker (which I then had to spend over an hour scraping off my window and never even saw it til I got my car back from impound) was placed on my window and based on my receipt, my car was then towed a little over an hour later when I evidently hadn't been back to my car to see the warning. I just find that to be a little ridiculous but not the issue at hand. This issue is when I called to get my car back, I was made to sign a "receipt" that was actually a release of liability stating there were no damages to my car when I was never given the opportunity to inspect my car as it was in a completely separate location. When I did get the chance to inspect my car, there is damage to my bumper from being towed but as I signed the release of liability (because I was given no other option) legally it doesn't seem there is much I can do. It is absolutely unethical and immoral business practice to force a customer to sign a release of liability without giving the option to even see the car especially after they say "it's just a receipt". If this company had an ounce of morals or business ethics, my bumper would be fixed but it's evident they do not. I expect it to be fixed but am not holding my breath. Divine Towing is has beyond shady business practices.Desired Settlement: Fix my bumper or refund my money so I can get it fixed myself.

Ms. [redacted],
Ion my way to Spokane,, WA my car broke down. I had to get it towed into Spokane for repair. Because I was from out of the area, they made my vehicle a priority in the hope that I would be able to drive home that day. My problem was diagnosed and fixed that day by mechanics that were very professional and left me feeling comfortable and confident in their work. They also did their best to accommodate myself and my companion while we waited. They kept me informed as to the progress of the repair and my options in case they could not get my car repaired that day, I feel the bill was more than fair and never once did I think they were trying to scam me. I will highly recommend this business to my friends and family. I give them an A+ rating.
Review: The owner charged me over $150 to repair my car so the engine light would go off. Due to the car failing an emission. The mechanic called me and told me what the problem was and how much it will cost to take care of the problem so it'll pass the emission. I informed him that it is ok to go ahead and repair it. So he called when it was done, I paid him and drove off. An hour later the engine light came back on. By that time the place was closed so I had to wait until Monday morning to call and speak with the supervisor. So I contacted him and he said to bring the car back in. So I did on that Thursday and left the car there for them to take care of it. The owner said that it was weird that the same codes was reading the same ones that caused the emission to fail. So he calls me at work and tells me that the old EGR valve that was in my trunk was working and the new one that was in wasn't (shouldn't have been going through my trunk without my permission) he they decided to put the old EGR valve. Did tell me anything about charging me due to lieing to me and telling me that they took care of the problem and the light was still on. He charged me $108 more on top of the $236 that I paid to get it fixed but didn't fix it.Desired Settlement: To return that $108. If the problem was fixed like the mechanic told me that it was when he called me and told me what needs to be done to take care of the problem and the engine light will go away, I wouldn't have had to take my car back up there. I feel that they took advantage of me

To Whom it may Concern,Ms. [redacted] brought her car into Divine's for diagnosis because she couldn't pass emissions due to a check engine light. After we diagnosed the check engine light it was found that while the EGR valve was functioning, the port from the EGR to the intake was clogged. We also determined that the EGR valve had recently been replaced. [redacted], our manager, called Ms. [redacted] with this finding and she approved us to clean the ports. After the repairs were complete we test drove the vehicle and set all readiness monitors. No codes returned and she was able to pass emissions. See attached emission test. Ms. [redacted] called us the following Monday to inform us that the check engine light was back on. After scanning the vehicle a second time a code P0405 had come up. That code indicates low voltage coming from the EGR valve to the PCM. After checking for a wiring fault we determined that the EGR valve was defective. We did not install or provide the EGR valve. Due to the valve being brand new we suspected that the old valve was still around because the EGR valve was not the cause of the original emission failure. We found the original EGR valve in her trunk and checked to see if was still functioning. We did this to try and save her time and money. We found that the original EGR valve was functioning properly and called Ms. [redacted]. We needed to reinstall the original EGR valve and perform a test drive. Ms. [redacted] did not have enough gas in her tank to perform the test drive but authorized us to put $10.00 in her tank. We put in the fuel, test drove the vehicle and determined the EGR was now functioning properly with no codes returning. Ms. [redacted] was charged only for the diagnosis and the fuel. She was not charged for removing and replacing her old EGR valve. See attached invoice. Divine's made every effort to save Ms. [redacted] money. Divine's is also not responsible for her wasted time. We're sorry that Ms. [redacted] did not bring her car to us before she purchased and installed the new EGR valve. Thank you

Review: I would have contacted the business through internal complaint lines but none was offered on the website or Facebook page that I could find. I am throughly frustrated that a specific older male employee that continues to be in a service position with no change in behavior of offensive, lackadaisical, and subpar customer service. I have spoken with the general manager about this issue and she finished my sentence. So obviously this is an issue others notice too but upper management keep him there. The general manager is phenomenal! As well as the other kind employees- one younger female and another younger male. I have two other choices in the immediate area but I like the other staff and prefer to do business there. However if I keep having even more negative run ins with this employee and his bad attitude, I will have to go elsewhere. Last interaction with said employee was December 31st 2014 around 5 or 6 o'clock at the liberty lake Divines location. It was his unsolicited argumentative opinion that crossed the line from grumpy to offensive badgering and I left uncomfortable. It still bothers me. I've discussed with my family & professor and think its appropriate to say something.Desired Settlement: I believe corrective action of said employee is appropriate. If I were handling it then include escalating disiplinary action if behavior worsens or doesn't change because its effecting business.

Review: mid may divines agreed to put a driveline in my truck.this was discussed in detail and agreed price was signed and agreed to. 262.00 or 265.00 and I pd 100 cash down and rest to be pd from debit card they took on the first.I left with believing this to be true. I got the run around for days from three diff people, saying one thing then another, then sat before memorial sunday I get a call from tow driver asking me where I live and he has my truck in tow and I didnt even know this. towed unfixed, and I getting taken for 87.00 and getting treated like I didnt even matter and feeling ripped off completely. I saved up for two yrs to get to the point I could get my truck fixed. they all knew that. they all knew I was on ssdi for income.no one told me that I was going to be taken for 85.00 and them backing out of our agreement. they never told me they didnt or they couldnt or they wouldnt put a driveline in my truck, matter of fact john called to inform me he ordered one from spaldings and was on its' way to shop. I was told so many things from diff people it was making me uncomfortable.when I tried to ask why were they taking my money like that and doing me like this when they knew it was wrong I got shrugged off and pretty much told to take it and too bad. I said I was going to file a complaint, they shrugged that off too and gave me an oh well , whats that going to do, aint going to get your money back and I left crying in disbelief. I just couldnt believe it. I was even told that their tow drivers gotta make a living too and that is how they get pd so get over it...I replied by saying by making me pay , I said you cannot do this , this is against the law...by then, I was completely being ignored as though I wasnt there. this took me four days to get where I would not just break down n cry over. I in no way deserved that. I in no way should have to be put threw that.I got robbed & I want my money.Desired Settlement: I want my money back. and I do not want to be told anything different. they out right took it from me, made me suffer for four days, gave me no service from what was agreed upon and cash down on and never told that I was getting my truck not fixed & towed back that day I had NO IDEA. I was given no choice or anything.I was misled, robbed, taken, and offered not even the curtisicy of letting me know any thing but what I left knowing. these actions are illegal.

Good Afternoon,
Please see the following letter to Ms. [redacted] and the attached invoices.
Divine's provided fair and honest service to Ms. [redacted] called and received an estimate for a driveline for her GMC truck. We provided her an estimate and she authorized us to tow her truck to our shop for the repair. When the truck got to our shop, our mechanic found that she did not have the correct transmission installed in her truck and we could not install the driveline we quoted her for. We called the customer and stated that we could either look for a rebuilt transmission that was made for her truck or for a driveline that works with the transmission she has in her truck. If she went with the different driveline we would have to send it to a specialty shop to be cut down. We obtained those estimates and Ms. [redacted] did not have the money to do either of these options and declined any repairs. She then requested we tow the vehicle to her home.
Divine's discounted both tows and our shop did not charge her for anything. We did communicate on a regular basis with Ms. [redacted] both in person and over the phone. She even came in and talked with me about possible payment options. Ms. [redacted] stated it had taken her two years to come up with the $100.00 she put down and was hoping to make payment arrangements for the remainder of the bill. Divine's was willing to make payment arrangements on an amount up to $200.00. When Ms. [redacted] declined repairs and had her vehicle towed to her home she was refunded her original deposit less the two tow bills.
Please let me know if you any questions or need any additional information from me.
Thank you

Thank you Divine's on South Grand. Always friendly, always good service. Love your "can do" attitude!
Review: I needed to get a car from their impound lot on a Sunday, and was told by their employee on Saturday that would not be a problem. Never mentioned having to pay for it. We call Sunday and are informed we had to pay $90 to get it. When I called Monday I was told, by [redacted], , the manager of the tow drivers, that the employee had led to me, or misinformed me, and that he, [redacted] would not do anything about it. Even after I explained that I would have made arraignments to get it Saturday if I had known there was going to be a charged to get it o on Sunday. Was told again that his employee miss lead me. I'm wondering if this is a scam they have going to get the extra money from the public.Desired Settlement: I want this business to be known as a scammer and not be allowed to do this to any one else.

Ms. [redacted],Pursuant to Washington Administrative Code [redacted] all
Registered Tow Truck Operators must have posted business hours and rates for
towing and after hours releases. This rate was set by Washington State Patrol on October 15th
2014 and will remain unchanged until October 14th 2016 . The
rates and hours of operation are posted in the window of our dispatch office. Posted hours are 7am to 7pm Monday – Friday and 8am-6pm Saturday. These hours are 25 hours per week more than required by the WA Admin Code of 45 hours a week or
Monday – Friday 8am-5pm. After interviewing the employee who spoke with you on Saturday at the impound yard, I was able to ascertain that the
employee advised you of the need to speak with our dispatcher about
releasing the car. He did not advise you that a Sunday or after
hours release would be possible or acceptable without first speaking to dispatch
about details regarding the release. You did not contact the on duty
dispatcher Saturday and when you contacted the after hours dispatcher on Sunday you were advised at that time of the after hours release fee. You then agreed
to pay the fee and the car was released. The hours of operation and
fee rates are posted and are not arbitrary as you suggest.
Thank you,
