I've been out dealing with parents medical issues since March along with having to move them so this did get pushed to the back burner in terms of responding until I got everything back in hand The film manufacture changed two thing in regards to the optional Gold Warranty processThey no longer accept personal checks -or- any payment from the customer for the optional gold warranty due to NSF and attempted charge backs from the CC companiesThe warranty forms are now submitted directly to our film distributor with payment from the dealer and then processed through to the manufacturerThey said this is so there is an additional paper trail in case of warranty claims arising Not aware of the changes I submitted the forms directly to the manufacture as outlined on the paperworkThis was originally submitted some time in October as there was another warranty included from job 10-4-When Mr [redacted] contacted me I checked and calculated the days to process time frame so I didn't think anything unusual had happenedUpon receiving your letter, I called the warranty department and discovered the manufacture returned the forms with the new procedures outlined, however, when they returned the paperwork they sent it back to my old address of [redacted] ***, which then got returned back to them because I'm no longer at that addressOf course when they got it back it made it into the wait till someone calls locationThey located the paperwork and returned it to me so I could resubmit using the new proceduresMrHapers check has not been cashed and he will not be charged for his optional gold warrantyHis paperwork along with the other customers form is being sent out Monday so the day paperwork window is starting overHopefully Mr [redacted] will accept not having to pay for the optional warranty as an apology due to the changed procedures, mail mix up that occurred along with my slow response since I was dealing with my parents issues Bryan S [redacted] Distinctive Glass IncCivic Circle Mooresville, IN Voice 317- [redacted] Fax 775- [redacted] Verizon wireless 317- [redacted]
