I ordered at 8 pm on their website for pickup on July 4th, 2020. My fiance and I showed up to pick up the food at 8:30 pm. When we arrived, the lights we're off, open sign was turned off, there was no employees in the building and the doors we're locked. We left and went back home. I got a call at 9 pm from a Dickey's employee asking me to pick up my food. I informed the employee that I already went to the store and no one was there. I asked the employee for a refund of my money since I was not going back out to get the food and had already made something else for dinner. My money was not refunded. I tried for weeks to get a hold of a manager. I finally received a phone call from someone claiming to be the owner of Dickey's. I felt that he was very unprofessional in general and by calling me and telling me that I needed to call *** to get my money back. I tried to explain my situation to him and I was repeatedly interrupted by him instead of him listening to me. He even went as far as to ask me more importantly what time did I go up there to get the food. That is not important! He made excuses saying that the phones don't work and something about internet when I had mentioned I have been trying for weeks to get a refund. I made another attempt to tell him the store looked closed and he asked me what do I mean? WHat exactly was off. So I explained yet again that the employees had the store closed. He told me to text him the copy of my receipt and he will have his wife refund our money. It's been another two weeks and I yet to have received my money back for food I never received.
The franchise owner has issued a full refund (you will see this as the bottom of the attached PDF).
I have also sent a copy of the receipt (showing the refund) to the guest.
