Facts on this repair are,unit dropped off Mon May 11th at 8:00PM , work started on unit Tue May 12th at 8:00am , finished and paid by customer on Thur May 14th at 2:pm Yes we use the latest in diagnostic equipment which helps in locating
problems in a more effective and timely manner .This equipment is still only a tool that gives readingsIn this case our diagnostics showed #injector as failing to meet the required efficiency ratingWe changed & test drove all coming back fine .At this time no other injector failed which if this problem happened again it is possible that #1-2-3-4-have now failed .We do not automatically change all injectors as they are $each Our service writer was correct in saying that there is one year warranty coverage on the repair made.This means if #injector fails wione year it is covered parts & laborIf it is another injector it is not covered and we would first need to diagnose the problem
As for the ABS problem which the customer stated they had replaced some ABS sensors a few months ago .We pushed the rr sensor back in place as we had a code for the rr sensor air gap out of spec and for the ABS module, took for a test drive & the warning light came on ,we then asked if we could remove the wheels and check the toner ring which does become rusted & will sense an improper reading & check the wheel brg's which if out of adjustment will cause an improper readingWhen road tested after adjustments & cleaning no warning lights appeared, presumed repaired5hrs for diagnostics , test driving twice ,remove wheels, cleaning & reassembly is not out of line
