I am responding to a complaint filed by Ms*** ***
We are denying Ms ***'s request for a full refund for the following reason:
Ms *** purchased this car nine (9) months ago AS IS without any warranty she acknowledged and
signed for it
At that time, there was some surface rust under the vehicle like millions of Midwest carsWe did not try to hide the rustHer brother and her both test drove the vehicle before purchasing itThe only complaint she has is that under the driver side floor board there is a small deterioration for that reason she wants full refundHowever this issue can be repaired easily and it is not as bad as she is claiming
I did recommend she take it to a welding shop where they could remove the carpet and install a new plateIt is not that expensive, generally around $to $depending on what shop she takes it tooAs of today, the car is running with no other issues

The owner in his reply admitted that there was rust under the vehicle and he knew about itQuote ("There was some surface rust under the vehicle like millions of Midwest cars") end quoteHe did not inform me of any rust under the vehicleI did not find out until I took it in for an oil changeI have a letter written by the employee that took care of me at car x stating that the car is a safety hazard especially for little children riding in the back of the carHe advised me to take the car back to where I purchased it from because he should not have sold an unsafe vehicle like thatThe owner also stated that my brother drove the car that is not true my brother lives in and was in Chicago at the time I purchased the car and is willing to provide a statement stating that he did not drive the vehicleFurthermore he is not a mechanic anywayWhen I went to the dealer it was myself my 71yrold mother and my adoptive daughter who is six yrs old and rides in the back of the carThere is more rust that the drivers side the entire bottom of the vehicle is rusted out, and it is as bad as I am making it out to beThe drivers side is just the worst partAs you can see in the pictures I attached to my original documentIf you lift up the carpet you can see the groundI should not have to have nothing welded under the car when he stated that he knew about the rust in the first placeI need a safe and reliable vehicle to take my adoptive daughter to and from school and doctors appointmentsThere should be a law against this kind of scamDiamond automotive should not be allowed to sell vehicles in this condition

I have been in business for 40+ years and years at current locationWith over thousands of happy and satisfied customers, I am very proud of it
We did not do anything immoral therefore Ms***'s unreasonable request is rejected
Ms***'s request is raising very interesting questions even though she knows clearly she purchased this vehicle with huge discount AS IS basis
Why she is making such a big fallacious stories after months of purchase for small area rust (easily repairable) and insisting for full refund only???
