I submitted to Diageo two receipts for a $15.00 dollar rebate *** promotion that they were currently offering to *** residents only. I used the required text feature and app to file submission. I received conformation that the submission was completed and I would have the funds in my *** account in 48 hrs. I waited for a week no money . I emailed Diageo and received a response Kelly R stating my submission was not processed however, I took a screenshot on the 26 th of June when it was submitted for proof showing it was accepted, I also submitted the screen shoot and both issuing qualifying receipts in an email back to Kelly R she has been non respondent and I am sure she is hoping I go away. If you offer a promotion to a consumer and they qualify, honor it. I just want my rebate.

Hi ***:
We reviewed the concern and could not verify exactly what may occurred here. I have informed the consumer that they will receive a rebate refund for $15 within the next 10-14 days. Also, please notate in the case notes that the reason there was a delayed response is that the original complaint was sent to our corporate office in *** and it took several weeks to get routed to my office in ***.
Thanks you for updated our account so that I may receive any future concerns via email instead of ***.
Please let me know if there is anything further that you require. We will consider this matter closed.
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Sincerely
Diageo actively advertised in the local newspaper, offering a rebate promotion for purchase of specific products. I followed the submission instructions and mailed the rebate materials within the required timeframe, entitling me to an $8 rebate. Instead, I received a postcard notifying me that my residence and purchase are not within an “authorized” state for this promotion. I phoned customer service in the designated rebate center (***) and was told that this state limitation was written in the fine print of the rebate offer. When I suggested that actively advertising in “non-authorized” states seemed to be borderline fraud, the agent thanked me for my feedback and disconnected our call.

Hello ***:
Per my voicemail message to you this afternoon. I logged a resolution update in the Revdex.com complaints portal website.
I can confirm that we will issue *** an $8 rebate refund. I can confirm that the offer was not valid for *** residents, which is stated on the coupon, but I don’t know why she may have received a rebate coupon in her newspaper.
To resolve this issue we are issuing *** the $8 refund as a onetime courtesy. She should receive the check within 4-6 weeks.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
