Review: I moved into my home on 12/30/13. Shortly after that I experienced freezing pipes. We contacted DH Services (Dr. Energy Saver). They made a proposal to us to insulate a soffitt area where the piping was located. They also insulated our attic and our crawl space and put in a hot water heater. The genesis of the work though was the freezing pipes. They assured us the insulating of the soffitt would resolve the frozen pipe issue. By the time the work was done last spring the weather wasn't freezing any longer. Once the temperatures were cold enough this year, which was the only chance we have had to see if the work was properly done, the pipes froze immediately. I contacted the owner of DH Services. I waited a week and got no reply and emailed him a second time. He said he would get someone out to the house and that the treatment is usually successful so he will have to re-open the area again and see why it didn't work. I never heard from him about scheduling a visit after that, as he requested I wait to hear from him. 3 weeks later, still not having heard anything I emailed him again about scheduling a visit. That was over a week ago and I've gotten no response again. They clearly have no interest in resolving this issue. The total cost of my project was $12,000. About $1,100 was the soffitt or cantilever area and I want that refunded so I can have someone else come and properly repair the area.Desired Settlement: Come finish the job immediately or refund the cost of that part of the job which was $1,100.
