I paid for rush shipping on a single item (2-4 business days) and it took nearly a month for my product to be reach me, from *** to ***. In addition there has been no reply to my repeated attempts to contact your company to seek resolution for this issue. Additionally to no response to email correspondence, the company phone number is disconnected.
I placed an order (***) in December 2018, I tracked the order and noticed that the address was incorrect and contacted Despair with a correction. I did not receive a reply, nor my order. Via tracking, I noticed the package was returned to the company. I again contacted the company with my correct address and asked them to reship, even offering the pay shipping again. I received no response. I have contacted their customer service two more times, in my last email in March, I requested a refund, and I have received no response. I have also left a message on their phone - which they say "they listen to infrequently". I have also posted on their Facebook page, noting they have not posted anything since 2017. So at this point I am not even sure if they are in business anymore. Which is sad because I have ordered from them before and had no problems.
I ordered a calendar from despair.com on 2/4/19. I received a confirmation e-mail the same day. The order said it would take 5-7 business days to process and that I would be notified when the item shipped. My debit card was charged the same day. It has now been 3 weeks, and I have never received the item or been notified that it has shipped. I filled out two on-line customer service inquiries on the despair.com website, and called their customer service number and left a voicemail. I have not received any response.
So far so bad. Ordered a calendar in January, still says my order is confirmed. Their customer service doesn’t respond at all to inquiries and the phone number points you back to the website.
What is working however is their website. Still up and advertising for 2019 products, still taking people’s money and not delivering because they know the consumer is helpless. Probably part of their gag. Order from despair we take your money and give you nothing. I’m not laughing though.
On December 22, 2018, I ordered two calendars and paid $62.00. Order number 46362. As of 2/12/2019, I have not received my order. The order status on my account page says "unfulfilled." have emailed the business several times using the contact information on the business' website. I have not received a email in return. I would like to receive my order or a refund.
I placed an order Jan. 25th 2019. It was a Birthday present and I read that personalized Calendars take 5-7 days which was still enough time for shipping. After 9 working days I still did not receive a shipped notification and as instructed e-mailed them to find out what the estimated ship day would be. NO response. 3 Days later I e-mailed again. NO response. At the phone number I found on the web I got a message indicating that they check the voice mailbox 'infrequently'. I left a detailed message and included my name and phone number. Still no response yet.
I too have been a loyal customer, since they first opened up shop in 1999. I too am appalled at their complete lack of communication when I contacted them about an item missing from my order. I tried five times through their customer service portal with no acknowledgement and no resolution to the problem. At the phone number I found on the web, and off to the right on this very page, I got a message indicating that they check the voice mailbox 'infrequently'. I left a detailed message and included my name and phone number. There hasn't been enough time for them to reply yet, but I'll update either way in a couple of days.
I ordered from this business on December 6. I never received a shipping confirmation and I emailed the company on 3 separate occasions and received no response. I have already been charged for my purchase but never received it.
I had placed an order in late November 2018 and received an acknowledgement. Sent messages to "customer service" and left voice message on a phone number they supposedly have to no avail as of January 3, 2019.
I've been a loyal customer for over 10 years and this is deplorable. Quite a few clients were very disappointed that the calendars were not available.
I have been trying to cancel an order (***) placed on the wrong credit card for 8 days. I placed the order on 09/19/18. I sent 3 messages via their contact us form on their *** web site. I have also emailed them at *** (the email address the receipt comes from) on 09/19 and 09/24.. There is no phone number on their site or order email. I received no communication back from them. After receiving no I called the number listed on the Better Business website and left a voice mail message on it (on 09/21). The voice mail box says to use the contact us form on the web site and that the box is checked infrequently. I have never had such a hard time canceling / changing an order.
I actually want the order but need it placed on a different card.
I ordered some posters from Despair.com a month ago. Not only have the posters not arrived, these guys haven't even responded to any one of my several emails asking for updates. In fact I have had no contact from them after the initial automated email confirming my order.
Pretty sure this is a scam website.
