An order was placed for a floral arrangement due to a family member passing away. The delivery was scheduled for the church that the funeral services were taking place. The order was placed on Sunday 4/19/20 and the delivery was scheduled on Monday 4/20/20 prior to noon. The florist contacted me on 4/20/20 and stated that they were not able to deliver the arrangement to the funeral home because the funeral home representatives were headed to the church for the funeral. I reminded them that the arrangement was scheduled to go to the church and not the funeral home. The representative stated that they attempted to deliver it to the funeral home because it was closer than the church. Again, I informed them that is not where I authorized the delivery to go. The representative stated that it would be an extra $15.00 to have the arrangement delivered to the church because of the distance. I informed them that I have already paid a delivery fee when the order was placed. The representative stated that they do not deliver in that area and that's why they decided to take it to the church. Initially I told them to cancel the order but called back and told them that I would pay the extra $15.00 for delivery. I ended up paying an extra $15.00 in delivery fees for the arrangement to be delivered to the address that I originally authorized.
