I chose Desoto Fence & Ironworks for the name but the quality of wood is already the worst warping and leaning the workmanship appears to be just Okay but nails missing and stacking of wood at corners tore up my yard & blamed me for wanting fence put up knowing it was going to rain !'! The owner gave us a contract Jan 3 rd installation was scheduled but wasn't started for almost 2 wks and the wood weighs zero lbs with warping of boards in less than one week .Missing nails but not the issue with the quality of wood I was sent a photo of 5/8 ? board but this measures 1/2 in One board they brought me weighs 4.888lbs and stated it was put up but it is no where I can see for 578 linear feet The owner called me to say that due to the storm he might not be able to get any wood then text me sev times to say no wood and he didn't get the wood because he couldn't afford it but we had paid over $7K at that point He asked for Cash & he asked for us to write checks to his installer due to his Social Security Disability income . He also explained that he drove by*** and saw wood out on dock and went in to pay for it but when getting it loaded they refused as it was for another customer. He stated that *** had given his wood to another customer in the past and that he almost got the cops called on him . The installer told me the wood is junk and that he would make it right but has not! We paid 10,000 for this fence and it s already bowing

Replacement I want other customers to know not to use this company and if they don't replace it I am going to file suit
We offered to replace the 8 or 10 boards that were bad an put the missing nails in. They got out there and started to shake the post why we wasn't on sight an broke the bond on the concrete. The cedar boards I put up was 19/32 thick that is
1 32nd shy of 5/8". The contract read 500 ft of 6' cedar privacy
Fence an 1 Double Gate. Treated Pine 4x4 post and treated pine 2x4's . That is what we installed. Like I said no problem to replace the not hole boards and nail the boards they missed.
I been doin Fence work since May of 96' in Olive Branch with out a single complaint til her.
