Floor squeaks are a common occurrence in the construction of new homes. Sometimes they are unavoidable. Because of this fact, the Warranty provided by contract to the Purchaser speaks to the issue clearly. (The Warranty is included in the contract documents that were provided to the Purchaser for review prior to entering the Purchase Agreement - a copy of the referencing page is attached)
