Review: I signed up for a 2month tanning session but was only given a small cell phone type device with the contract on it to sign. I mentioned at the time that I could not read what I was signing as it was too small. I was not given a copy either or asked if I wanted one. There was no paper in the device so I just thought they could not print it out. I was told my debit card would be charged twice, once the first month for an entire month even though I was signing up well after the first of the month and the second mo they would only charge my card for the partial month. They charged me a third month and told me I had to cancel before the 25th if I did not want additional months of service. I asked for a refund of the 3rd month which was $82.00 and was told it would be up to the owners discretion and would take 90 days. I I filed a complaint with Desert Sun and have not been contacted.Desired Settlement: I am seeking a refund for the third month that I did not want. I think their practices are deceptive. I was told I had to sign up for 2 mos in order to only pay 82.00/mo otherwise it would have been more. I was never told that I needed to cancel or I would continue to be charged. They had other programs for 3mos etc. If I wanted three months I would have asked for that to begin with.
