The original appointment reason was to complete a wound check on a previously biopsied area, which is part of a global billing period and resulted in no charge to the patient.  At the patients request, Dr. Simmons went in to the exam room to examine and answer additional questions...

including treatment options regarding another medical condition the patient has.  This resulted in a charge for an established patient evaluation and management code that day in the amount of $71.84 that was billed to his insurance and applied to his deductible, leaving his remaining balance $55.88 per his insurance.  Please contact me with additional questions. Thank you, [redacted]
