Appointment for confirmation was left by an automated system about a week prior to the scheduled appointmentAppointment was scheduled at the time of a follow in the officeDrMarie- Louise J [redacted] director/owner of Dermatology service of Kingston, runs a fellowship program at times providers will change throughout the practiceThe provider who was seeing patients in august is not longer with this practiceHad a phone call questioning the charge been received, the patient would have been instructed to send in writing a reason as to why the appointment was missedDrMarie-Louise J [redacted] would have considered waving this fee once reviewedAll patients at the time of initial visit are required to sign a no show policy which informs them that a fee will be charged if appointment is not cancelled hours prior to scheduled appointment

DrMarie Louise J*** had an obligation to the patient to notify them of the change of a doctor! Just because she runs a fellowship, at no time was there notification between 8/**/and 1/**/that the doctors had changed, or that this was even the case when the initial appointment was made No one would go to a different surgeon if they were not told, or a different gynecologist because "DrMike" was no longer with the businessAs I am a survivor of skin cancer it is not only necessary but required when it comes to trusting a doctor.Being that DrJ*** is a doctor, I would hope she would have understood this; but apparently does not I will expect this to be cleared and will take all legal means to ensure that it is including all doctor review sights and the American Medical Association!
