Dermalift Reviews (%countItem)

They had false advertising offering a free sample only thepay ofshipping, of their "miraculous" product, then a month later they charged 89.18
I purchased this online from a FB link, I didn't get any documentation when I received the product, it seem pretty self explanatory, just pay shipping and handling for this sample.
The purchase was made sometime in April this year under the name of *** I didn't accept any charges after that. The transaction ID XXXXXXXXXX my bank provided this information, as the company did not.
I used a master card to pay 4.95 and 4.94 for two samples. After a month or so they hit my account with 89.18 which I didn't authorize.

When my bank questioned them they sent back documentation that claimed I didn't "cancel" thus they continue to charge a small car payment for a spoon full of lotion every month, a second shipment I never received BTW. They claim the priceo 89.18 is the initial purchase, only they allow people to try it "for free", and then they charge the full amount, most people aren't aware this is going to happen. They also do not provide a cancellation number to the client and(they provided it to my bank after I complained) they do not return emails. My bank had initially flagged them as fraud, and refunded me the money, only to take it back when I had no funds. They obviously rather screw up their own client than take down a theft ring. This company has other branches under their umbrella all with similar scam models.

Desired Outcome

I want them to refund the 98.18 charge to my account. They can keep my initial payment of 4.95 and 4.94 for their "sample".

Re: Complaint #67423679 - ***

Dear ***

We recently received your Revdex.com Complaint # XXXXXXXX regarding your Dermalift account. We take complaints very seriously and we hope this response will provide you with additional information. According to our records, we received your order on .

The terms of the offer that you agreed to at the time of your order clearly state that you were to have a 14 day trial period starting from the date that the order was placed, in which you could cancel your account to avoid further charges. They also indicate that, "you must take affirmative action to avoid further charges or you will be charged in the amount of $89.18 for the Dermalift, fourteen days from the date that the order was placed for the product(s)."

These terms were presented to you in multiple places on our website when you ordered our product. Additionally, you were sent an order confirmation email after your order was completed that provided a full written version of the terms you agreed to.

When you ordered the product you also clicked a button indicating that you agreed to the terms of the offer. When a customer clicks that button, we must assume that they have read what they are agreeing to. If there was any confusion with the terms you could have called our customer service team and they would have been happy to assist you.

Since we did not hear from you during your trial period, you were charged $89.18 on 04/05/2019

According to our records you have contacted your credit card company and initiated a chargeback for the full charge. Due to the chargeback, we are unable to issue you a credit at this time because you would then end up getting a credit twice for those purchases. Once a chargeback is filed with your bank we are unable to provide any type of refund as a resolution to the account.

The outcome will be between you and your bank. I do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I am sorry I am not able to help more I hope you have a great day!

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Hello, with all underseved respect, you are lying on so many levels, I intended to order from a FB article that contained an add claiming that Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex had created some miracle product and was giving it away, which had very little information and offered a product for free with just shipping and handling, my order did not go through and I got a call from your company to try my card again, (from a number which was not usable to call back),at that time I asked the costumer service if this was a scam and she reassured me that there were NO ADDITIONAL costs, and was a one time deal.

When the $90 dollar charge came out of my account it was my own bank's fraud department who rightfully contacted me, and I agreed it was indeed fraud because I had not agreed to pay that much for something. They gave me a temporary credit, replaced my card so your fraudulent company wouldn't take out any more money, but your manipulating feedback refusing to refund, with information not available to me at the time of purchase over the phone, made them take their credit back, thus I did not receive ANY refund, and on top of that my account went negative.

My complaint stands until I receive a refund.

I included the picture of the sample I got, which shows how little of the product is included in the thick decieving glass bottle, which in no way shape or form is worth that much money, and could have even been shipped for less than the shipping and handling fee I had agreed to pay.

Their response is obviously an automated response identical to their initial response, they do not even read. They do not take the time to see each individual complain and assume everyone is going to get a refund from their bank which it is not the case with me.

I am requesting a refund from the thieves directly, my bank has washed their hands and will only receive a refund and reflect it on my account when the Dermalift company sends it to them.

I sent a return of the bottles they had sent to me and I have the information from the UPS that it arrived on March 8, 2019. I called them and told them that I had sent their products and told them the date I had been informed. They said that it would take a week to be set up and return the cost to me. It did not send me any $. I called again and again and again.

Finally, they agreed to return the $, but they only returned one of the items. I still do not have any return for the second item.

Both items were never open or used. There is no reason that they should not return both items.

Just for interest, the address that I was given is Suite 573, Odessa, FL. I looked at the address on my computer and I could not see it. I saw the Post Office and I saw s church. I called the Priest from the Church and he kindly walked around to see if he could find Suite 573. He did not. So, I have learned that that "Suite" is just to be used for email. I know now that the people from the company are in Tampa although I do not know where. They are about 25 miles apart.

I am waiting for the second item and I simply hope it will happen. My bank is checking and will pay me for the second item if it is not paid to me.

Desired Outcome

Refund I want the second item repaid to me.

Customer Response • Apr 05, 2019

They have now sent me all that is owed. They sent one half to my card and then several weeks later they mail a check to me that was half.

I have spoken and read with many folks who didn't get their money back. I did because I kept complaining and sending my information to you - Better Business.

being billed for product I didn't authorize
After seeing advertisement on Facebook for a free trial of Dermalift, I ordered said product only having to pay shipping and handling. I have since received 2 more orders and have been charged $89 per product on my bank card. I did not authorize any future orders. I have tried to contact this business by phone and by email and have yet to receive an answer. I will be sending this most recent shipment back with a later stating that I want a refund which I'm sure will be ignored as well.

Desired Outcome

I am asking for a refund for the most recent delivery totalling $178.81. Had I checked my bank balance last month, I would've caught this and been filing this complaint sooner.

Customer Response • Dec 18, 2018

thank you, I received an email yesterday from company, they have taken my name off their file.

In May 2018 I requested a TRIAL of Dermavelle eye and face cream, agreeing only to shipping charges ($4.95 for two trials). I got them. I did not like them. I called the number on the back of the Dermavelle bottle to stop product but the # *** advises to press 0 for customer service and when you do, call gets disconnected. I emailed company several times at email on back of bottle and told them to stop sending product (***@***.com).They never answer emails. I sent the boxes back, wrote cancelled order, return to sender, not authorized. I did the best I could. this company is not doing business normally.
I have been out of work since last April -ill. I have not even looked at one of my accounts *** ending in *** and tonite I tried the number and pressed 1 and got a representative who offered to refund me a couple months of my charges totaling "$891.00!!!!!!!The woman was offering me a "30% refund, then a 50% refund, like it was Let's Make a deal:. I asked for a supervisor 3 times. She finally hung up on me after saying "have a nice day". She told me my returned products never reached them and probably sitting at UPS what is wrong
All this for a trial. Supposedly this is Joanne G company. I cannot find out their legitimacy.
I will go to my bank in the morning and block this company, but can someone please get my money back? This is wrong.
The second rep I talked to said I needed to stop the order and I understand that but I sent back but I COULDN'T. They don't answer calls or emails.
Product_Or_Service: Dermavelle

Desired Outcome

Refund See above. There was no way to inform the company by email or phone number. I sent ALL product back. I am at fault for not seeing my bank accounts getting depleted, but I did not know. The reps were very rude and acted as though this was a sort of joke.I am not well and I would appreciate you advocating.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I understand the rules/contract BUT it was impossible to connect.I tried to contact the company, using the phone number and email on the bottle of eye serum within the 14 days. The phone number did not work. It directs customer to press 0, which I did, and it disconnects.I tried it about 10 times.I also emailed the company but the email on the bottle is a dead end.The ompany cannot blame a customer for NOT cancelling if they make it impossible to cancel.
I sent back 6 boxes of product the same way it cam, unopened, through the mail.
When I spoke with the representive on Oct 16 I told her all of this. She said product was probably still at UPS. I told her I had just received two more boxes which is why I tried phone number again, only this time I pressed 1 and got her. She told me not to bother sending 2 boxes back & that I "could keep them".
I explained about the phone number. She said "yeah someone else told me that!!!??"

Customer Response • Oct 30, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Let me clear. The only money I am willing to pay is my initial trial(s) shipping fee, charged to my visa on 5/21/18 for $4.94 and $4.95.
I tried at the end of May, in June, July and August, then September to reach company at their bogus line and email site.
I sent every box of product back and was under the impression you DID receive it. It went to *** Fla (the address it came from in left hand corner of the box) according to the US mail.
The company uses at least 3 different names according to my Citizens Bank: Captivating skin, Skin Pump and Natural Hair Beauty.
These are the following charges that I want refunded: 6/8/18 $88.63 (Skin Pump), 6/11/18 $89.18 (Captivating Skin), 6/25/18 $89.18 (Captivating Skin), 6/29/18 $88.63 (Skin Pump),
7/24/18 $89.18 (Captivating Skin), 7/27/18 $4.95 (Natural Hair Beauty), 7/30/18 $88.63 (Skin Pump), 8/10/18 $89.99 (Natural Hair Beauty), 8/23/18 $89.18 (Captivating Skin), 8/28/18 $88.63 (Skin Pump), and finally 9/24/18 $89.18 (Captivating Skin)
That is a total of 10 charges to me plus a random $4.95 again.
I also received 2 $12.00 overdrafts due to your taking debits I was not aware of.
Your response includes nothing about advertising an email on your product for which no one answers. I am not sure it is a real email.
I am also not convinced you did not receive the product. Who/what is affiliated with you in *** Fla, then, that sends customers the product? That address must have many many boxes returned. I am only one person and I am sure your company did this with others.

11/14/2018 01:45pm - Refunded - $89.18 Trans-ID: ***

Your account remains canceled and you will not receive any further shipments or charges. I hope this resolves your concern today and I hope you have a good day!

They give you the impression that you are only paying for shipping for free trial products. But they charge your account full price later. Misleading!
I only wanted to try the products and pay for the shipping($4.95 each) as advertised.Later I was charged 86.33, and another 86.33 was pending. Their advertising is misleading, deceptive and thievery.

Desired Outcome

I would like a refund of my 86.33 x 2 preferably. at the least a refund of 86.33 x 1. Furthermore, I want no more charges to occur and my account canceled.

started ordering a trail size of Dermalift but didn't finish the order when I saw a pop up of a recurring subscription charge. product was shipped
on 8/25/18 I started ordering a trial size jar of Dermalift from my cell phone supposedly for shipping charges only. When the order started processing, a pop up window appeared stating by completing the order I was agreeing to recurring future subscription charges of approximately $85. I stopped the order from completing. on 8/27/18 I received a call and voice mail stating that I didn't complete my order and to call ***. I called the number and A man named Oscar answered and I told him I intentionally didn't complete the order because I am not agreeing to the recurring subscription charges to my credit card. He told me they were removing my name and information from their website. The order was delivered to my address anyway and the shipping charges were charged to my credit card. I notified my credit card company on 8/28 and 9/4/18 to make sure the charges do not occur and have alerted them to possible future fraudulent credit card charges. Today on 9/4/18 I am returning the Dermalift trial size product to the address in Odessa, FL via UPS.

Desired Outcome

I am returning the product sent without my full authorization on 9/4/18 via UPS. I don't want Clarity X charging my credit card for shipping charges for the incomplete order on 8/25/18 or any future recurring subscription charges.

Signed up for a free trial (4.95) shipping and handling. Got product with no statement of charge of any kind. There was no number to call. No information about any time limits to the free trial. I looked carefully. There was no packing slip or invoice of any kind. I finally got hold of a woman at the company and was informed that I've been charged 88.95 and 89.95 for my free trial and the next shipment that I've been sent even though I was never given any information or receipt or invoice with that information or a working number. I had to find that on a complaint website, not associated with the company. This is a company operating dishonestly. They are refusing to refund any money. I still have no receipt or statement of any kind that would tell me what I've been charged or why. Please help!!!
Sincerely,
***
Product_Or_Service: Face cream

Desired Outcome

Billing Adjustment I would like the sample I ordered and paid 4.95 for and have the additional charges refunded.
