Dependable Appliance Company

A new company has purchased Dependable Appliance, and they are now outsourcing their labor through Consumer Protection Services. We purchased an LG refrigerator through Dependable 1 year ago, and recently, the ice maker has malfunctioned, and is need of repair. CPS required us to send them the original bill of sale, which we no longer have. Dependable stated that they no longer had the bill of sale, and needed to get it from the original owners. Since that time, we contacted both CPS and Dependable, and have received the run-around, with the end result that it has been approximately 7 weeks from the point of contact and no resolution and no repair to our refrigerator. I contacted Dependable, and they stated that they do not have to honor the original contract. We would either like our money back for the 5 year warranty that we purchased or for them to honor the contract and repair the refrigerator.
